Background: Unintended perioperative hypothermia, defined as core body temperature less than 36°C, is closely related to many complications such as cardiovascular diseases, peroperative hemorrhagic diathesis and impairment of drug metabolism. Determination of the incidence of perioperative hypothermia and examination of risk factors may help to prevent hypothermia and its complications.

Methods: We conducted a prospective, observational study of 2015 patients who underwent various operations under general anesthesia, and the risk factors of developing hypothermia were analysed.

Background: Patients' demographic and epidemiological characteristics, local variations in clinicians' knowledge and experience and types of surgery can influence peri-operative transfusion practices. Sharing data on transfusion practices and recipients may improve patients' care and implementation of Patient Blood Management (PBM).

Materials And Methods: This was a multicentre, prospective, observational, cross-sectional study that included 61 centres.

It is recommended that endotracheal cuff (ETTc) pressure be between 20 and 30 cm HO. In this present study, we intend to observe average cuff pressure values in our clinic and the change in these values after the training seminar. The cuff pressure values of 200 patients intubated following general anesthesia induction in the operating theatre were measured following intubation.

Objectives: An effective rehabilitation program is essential to prevent joint stiffness and regain range of motion after surgical treatment of intra-articular fractures of the distal humerus. We evaluated the effect of a physiotherapy program on functional results, that involved passive resistive stretching exercises performed under axillary brachial plexus block after radiographic observation of bone union of intra-articular fractures of the distal humerus treated with open reduction and internal fixation.

Methods: The study included 21 patients (7 females, 14 males; mean age 34+/-5 years; range 21 to 57 years) who underwent open reduction and internal fixation for intra-articular fractures of the distal humerus.
