  • Lung cancer is responsible for about 20% of global cancer deaths, and low oxygen levels (hypoxia) in tumors significantly contribute to its severity and treatment resistance.
  • Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) like lncRNAs, miRNAs, circRNAs, and siRNAs play important roles in gene regulation and tumor behavior, with certain ncRNAs linked to aggressive lung cancer spread and others showing potential for early detection.
  • Understanding how hypoxia interacts with ncRNAs could lead to new biomarkers and targeted therapies, helping to improve treatment outcomes for lung cancer patients.
