Adnexal clear cell carcinoma exhibiting comedonecrosis (ACCCC) is a rare, cutaneous, malignant neoplasm with limited reported cases since its discovery. ACCCC is characterized by unique clinical and histological features, demanding a precise diagnosis due to its potential for aggressive behavior and early metastases, distinct from other cutaneous tumors with clear cytoplasmic cells. We present the case of an 81-year-old male with a history of multiple non-melanoma skin cancers, who presented with a 5 mm erythematous papule on his left tragus.

Purpose: Proper management of the soft tissues around dental implants is crucial to their long-term function and esthetics. The purpose of this article is to report the survival rate of immediate posterior implants when using an immediate chair-side technique for custom healing abutments.

Materials And Methods: The investigator implemented a retrospective case series analysis of a sample of 115 consecutive patients with 1 posterior dental implant placed between February 1, 2012 and December 9, 2014, in the author's private practice who underwent the previously published technique for immediate custom chair-side healing abutment fabrication.

Embolization after internal carotid artery injury secondary to transsphenoidal pituitary surgery and delayed intranasal coil protrusion: illustrative case.

Background: The authors presented a case of spontaneous nasopharyngeal coil migration that occurred 3 years after a patient had undergone transsphenoidal resection due to pituitary macroadenoma and was treated with coil application because of internal carotid artery injury secondary to transsphenoidal resection of the pituitary macroadenoma.

Observations: In the literature, eight cases of coil migration that occurred between 2 and 120 months after coil application have been reported, most of which were treated with surgical removal of the coil in a same-day surgery setting.

Lessons: The case presented emphasized that coil protrusion and migration may lead to destruction in the skull base, thereby leading to serious consequences if left untreated, even in the absence of history of trauma.

The aims of this study were to comparatively determine the frequency of subclinical/clinical lymphedema by using prospective monitoring with bioimpedance spectroscopy (BIS) and circumferential measurements in a group of patients who underwent breast cancer surgery.

Objective: To report a very rare case of incidentally discovered Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma after total thyroidectomy in a patient with Graves' disease, review available literature, and present readers with management information.

Results: Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma in the setting of Graves' disease is a rare scenario. Only fifteen total cases besides ours has been described in literature, and only six other cases were incidentally discovered.

A case of resistant pityriasis ribra pilaris responsive to combination acitrentin and ustekinumab.

Pityriasis rubra pilaris is a rare psoriasiform dermatitis. Treatment has been adopted from psoriasis protocols, with topical corticosteroids and systemic retinoids as first-line agents, followed by escalation to biologics for recalcitrant disease. We report a patient with resistant pityriasis rubra pilaris who dramatically improved with acitretin and ustekinumab, a combination not well documented in the literature.

Contrast-induced generalized bullous fixed drug eruption resembling Stevens-Johnson syndrome.

A 59-year-old woman with end-stage renal disease presented for suspected Stevens-Johnson syndrome that was ultimately diagnosed as generalized bullous fixed drug eruption (GBFDE) secondary to the administration of iodinated nonpolar radiocontrast. The patient had three previous episodes of a generalized bullous eruption after a thrombectomy, fistulogram, and an arteriovenous fistula revision, all requiring radiocontrast administration. Biopsies taken after previous eruptions demonstrated full-thickness epidermal necrosis, and she was diagnosed with Stevens-Johnson syndrome thought to be due to allopurinol.
