Deficiency of APO CII is an ultra-rare autosomal recessive cause of familial chylomicronemia syndrome. We present the long-term clinical outcomes of 12 children with APO CII deficiency.

In the current literature, there are no studies examining the content quality and the strengths and weaknesses of videos on Instagram that explain anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries, which is the most discussed topic of sports surgery. The aim of this study was to evaluate the quality, strengths and weaknesses of information pertaining to ACL surgery that is disseminated on Instagram.

In order to overcome this problem ex vivo expansion with small molecules such as Valproic acid (VPA) or Nicotinamide (NAM) have been shown to be effective. To the best of our knowledge, the combinatory effects of VPA and NAM on HSPC expansion has not been studied earlier.

Familial predisposition to MM has long been recognized, but the genetic underpinnings remain elusive. This study aimed to investigate germline variants in Turkish families with recurrent MM cases.

The mortality rate due to infection varies between 1-5%. The mortality rate is higher in those with cardiovascular risk factors, especially in cases with hypertension.

We demonstrate direct inference of full atomic-level protein structure from primary sequence using a large language model. As language models of protein sequences are scaled up to 15 billion parameters, an atomic-resolution picture of protein structure emerges in the learned representations.

Patients And Methods: KIR genotypes and ligands of 204 newly diagnosed MM patients are compared with 424 healthy subjects.
Background: Myotonic dystrophy type 1(MD1), which is characterized by decreased muscle tone, progressive muscle weakness, and cardiac involvement, is an autosomal dominant and progressive congenital muscle disease. Cardiac involvement more often manifests as conduction abnormalities and arrhythmias (such as supraventricular or ventricular). Approximately one-third of MD1-related deaths occur due to cardiac causes.

Study Design: Prospective observational study.
Place And Duration Of Study: Bursa Yuksek Ihtisas Training & Research Hospital, Bursa, Turkey, between July 2020 and July 2021.
Objective: Many methods are used in the treatment of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), which causes acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and there are conflicting reports in the literature regarding the results of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy, which is one of those methods. The aim of our study is to evaluate the effect of MSC treatment applied together with standard treatments on survival.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective case-control study evaluates the survival effect of MSC treatment administered to patients treated in intensive care after the development of ARDS due to COVID-19 between March 2020 and March 2021.
Purpose: Studies comparing tensile bond strength of various soft and hard denture liner materials to conventionally and additively manufactured denture base resins are lacking. The purpose of this study was to investigate the tensile bond strength between chair- and laboratory-side soft and hard relining materials and denture-base materials produced by additive manufacturing and conventional methods.
Materials And Methods: A total of 120 dimethacrylate-based additively manufactured and polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA)-based conventionally fabricated dumbbell-shaped denture-base resins were produced.
Aim: Myeloid sarcoma (MS) is a rare tumour comprising myeloid blasts occurring at an anatomical site other than the bone marrow. We sought to investigate both paediatric and adult patients with MS diagnosed at our institution and determine possible correlations among their clinicopathological, phenotypic, molecular and prognostic features.
Methods: This study retrospectively evaluated the data of 45 patients diagnosed with MS at Ege University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, Turkey, over a 17-year period.
Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) is a common hematological malignancy originating from bone marrow stem cells. Chromosomal abnormalities can be seen in almost all cases, the most known anomaly being Philadelphia (Ph) chromosome, a derivative chromosome resulting from a translocation between 9. and 22.

Materials And Method: Patients with a history of COVID-19 confirmed by reverse transcriptase-PCR test who underwent SPECT-MPI for the evaluation of ischemia with the complaints of chest pain and shortness of breath were screened for this study. Patients who underwent thorax CT during the acute period of the COVID-19 were included.
Background: Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction Frame Count (TFC) is an index that provides a quantitative evaluation of coronary microvascular dysfunction. In this study, we aimed to examine the effect of COVID-19 infection on TFC in patients admitted with chest pain and dyspnoea after COVID-19 disease and had abnormal findings in myocardial perfusion scintigraphy.
Methods: For this single-center retrospective study, patients with and without a history of COVID-19 who were underwent coronary angiography for abnormal findings in myocardial perfusion scintigraphy between January 1, 2021 and June 30, 2021 were analysed.
