Paper is an ideal platform for creating flexible and eco-friendly electronic systems. Leveraging the synergistic integration of zero- and two-dimensional materials, it unfolds a broad spectrum of applications within the realm of the Internet of Things (IoT), spanning from wearable electronics to smart packaging solutions. However, for paper without a polymer coating, the rough and porous nature presents significant challenges as a substrate for electronics, and the absence of well-established fabrication methods further hinders its application in wearable electronics.

Hydatid cyst (HC) is a zoonotic disease that often affects regions where animal husbandry is common and preventive measures are not taken. This disease mostly affects the liver and the lungs. Involvement of other organs, such as the kidney, musculoskeletal system, and intracranial structures, is rare.

The Subchondroplasty (SCP) procedure uses AccuFill, a calcium phosphate bone substitute material (BSM), to treat bone defects such as microtrabecular fractures and BML. This observational, prospective, multicenter, cohort study evaluated the effect of the SCP procedure at the 2-year follow-up for 70 patients with knee BML.

In this study, we investigated the effects of small molecules (WS6 and 5-iodotubercidin) and growth factors (TGFβ, HGF, and EGF) on the proliferation of β-like human ipSCs.
Methods: iPSCs derived β cells were treated with small molecules and growth factors.
Introduction: Prophylactic chemotherapy (PC) has been suggested to be effective in prevention of post molar gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (PGTN) in patients with high-risk molar pregnancies. The goal of this study is to assess the efficacy of single dose methotrexate as PC in terms of spontaneous remission, time to remission, and progression to PGTN.
Materials And Methods: Patients with molar pregnancy were recruited to the study and underwent cervical dilation and suction curettage.
Introduction: Ovarian granulosa cell tumor (OGCT) is a rare female pathology with few available demographic data. Besides, there are no comprehensive clinical characteristics regarding the OGCT in Iran. Thus, this study aimed to assess the clinical features and survival rate of OGCT patients in Iran to expand the scope of knowledge in this field.

However, a lack of knowledge of the variability of this process provides a challenge in discerning between normal adolescent development and shoulder pathology. We presented a case of a 15-year-old male with chronic intermittent right shoulder pain who was diagnosed with a labral tear based on presentation, physical exam, and magnetic resonance arthrogram.

Therefore, the other HPV types are underestimated. Several studies have also reported a greater prevalence of HPV 16 in cervical cancer in Iran than in the world.

Activation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis during puberty leads to sexual maturation and development of sex differences through the action of gonadal sex steroids. While the gut microbiome also undergoes sex differentiation, the mechanisms involved remain poorly understood.

These require flexible/wearable systems adaptable to body motions, thus materials conformable to non-planar surfaces, and able to maintain performance under mechanical distortions. Here, fibre PDs are prepared by combining rolled graphene layers and photoactive perovskites.

Methods: In this cross-sectional retrospective study, pelvic DCE-MRI of 245 patients with 340 adnexal masses was studied based on the ADNEX MR scoring system and pattern recognition system.
Results: ADNEX MR scoring system with a sensitivity of 96.
Paper is an ideal substrate for the development of flexible and environmentally sustainable ubiquitous electronic systems. When combined with nanomaterial-based devices, it can be harnessed for various Internet-of-Things applications, ranging from wearable electronics to smart packaging. However, paper remains a challenging substrate for electronics due to its rough and porous nature.

Background: Breast cancer among women is the most frequently diagnosed cancer and the leading cause of death worldwide. There many advances in diagnosing and treating this disease, early diagnosis and treatment are still a significant challenge in the early stages. In recent years, microRNAs have attracted much attention in cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Several studies have reported the activation of HERV-K in different cancers; however, the investigation of HERV-K expression levels in CC is scarce. In this study, it was hypothesized that activation of HERV-K could play an essential role in CC development.

Methods: This study was designed as a phase 2, 1:1 randomized, investigator-blinded, controlled, non-inferiority trial and we report the interim results after 50% accrual.
Background: Superior labral anterior and posterior (SLAP) tears are a common finding in overhead athletes. The original classification system produced by Snyder in 1990 contained 4 types of SLAP tears and was later expanded to 10 types. The classification has been challenging because of inconsistencies between surgeons making diagnoses and treatments based on the diagnosis.

The cytokine storm, or an excess of cytokines released locally, is assumed to be the primary cause of ARDS and mortality in COVID-19 patients. To enhance the survival rate of COVID-19 patients, early management of the cytokine storm with immunomodulators is crucial.

Objective: Breaking bad news to the patient is challenging, especially for the physicians and the residents, due to the lack of structured and practical training. This study aimed to design and evaluate a novel virtual instructional design for improving obstetrics and gynecology (Ob/Gyn) residents breaking bad news skills.
Materials And Methods: Virtual instructional design was performed based on the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) from September 2020 to July 2021 at the Department of Ob/Gyn, a referral hospital affiliated with Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran.
