Objective: To describe the construction process of an intervention in the form of a Nursing Care program to Adolescents aimed at preventing and controlling overweight/obesity in the school environment.
Method: A methodological study developed through Intervention Mapping in Natal/RN, Brazil, between October of 2015 and September of 2016, with the participation of adolescents, public school teachers and nurses in Primary Health Care. Data sources were focus groups, interviews and an integrative review.
The aim of this study was to describe the nursing professionals' opinion on the nursing process, in order to base the actions of the implementation of the process in our institution. This is a qualitative study, carried out during an action research with the nursing staff of a pediatric teaching hospital. The nursing process is designed as a tool to organize care and prescribe nursing care.

Utilizing a discursive essay approach, it is argued that the concept analysis technique enhances critical thinking. The steps of the concept analysis are analyzed as to the inherent cognitive operations that represent critical reasoning processes.
