This study sets out to develop a psycho-social model for assessing the effectiveness of spiritually oriented logotherapy for earthquake victims with PTSD following the 6 February 2023, Kahramanmaraş earthquake in Turkey. The findings of this study will undoubtedly contribute to the development of post-disaster spiritual support services. We developed and implemented a six-week "Psycho-Social Training Programme through Spiritually Oriented Meaning" in the cities of Malatya, Elazığ and Kahramanmaraş, which were significantly affected by the earthquake.

This study was carried out to examine the spiritual well-being and depression levels of postpartum women following the two major earthquakes that occurred in 2023 with the epicenter Kahramanmaraş in Turkey. This cross-sectional analytical study was conducted with the participation of 345 postpartum women admitted to the maternity ward of a medical faculty hospital in the provincial center of Kahramanmaraş in Turkey between June and September 2023. Data were collected using the Spiritual Well-Being Scale (SWBS) and the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS).

It is notable for its large sample size and comparison of unilateral and bilateral cleft patients, cleft and noncleft sides, and different age groups.
Design: Retrospective cohort study.
Background: Distal radius fractures have a psychological impact on patients, with the pain and disability caused by these injuries potentially leading to psychological distress. It is not known whether dominant-side and nondominant-side distal radius fractures cause more psychological distress in patients.
Questions/purposes: (1) Compared with patients who have distal radius fractures on the nondominant side, do patients with dominant-side fractures experience greater pain? (2) Do patients with dominant-side distal radius fractures have greater disability? (3) Do patients with dominant-side distal radius fractures have worse psychological adjustment? (4) What factors are associated with a worse quality of life mental component measure?
Methods: This retrospective study was conducted by the departments of orthopaedics-traumatology and psychiatry in a multidisciplinary manner at our university hospital, which is a public hospital.
High-grade glioma is the most frequent and lethal primary tumor of the central nervous system. Despite advances in surgical, pharmacological, and cell-directed therapies, there have been no updates to the standard of care in over a decade. This cross-sectional study analyzes patient and trial data from 201 interventional trials completed between 2010 and 2023, encompassing 18,563 participants.

Although IDH mutations yield a uniquely immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, the regulatory mechanisms that drive the immune landscape of IDH mutant (IDHm) gliomas remain unknown. Here, we reveal that transcriptional repression of retinoic acid (RA) pathway signaling impairs both innate and adaptive immune surveillance in IDHm glioma through epigenetic silencing of retinol binding protein 1 (RBP1) and induces a profound anti-inflammatory landscape marked by loss of inflammatory cell states and infiltration of suppressive myeloid phenotypes.

Materials And Methods: This randomized parallel-group controlled trial was conducted with 95 pregnant women (MBSR: n = 32, deep relaxation exercises: n = 31, control: n = 32) between 1 August and 15 October 2022 with pregnant women who were registered at the pregnancy outpatient clinics of a hospital in the Southeastern Anatolia Region of Türkiye. CONSORT guidelines were followed in our study.
This study is an attempt to comparatively analyze the impact of renewable energy sources on air quality represented by particulate matter 2.5 concentrations utilizing panel data of 60 countries which are divided into two sub-panels industrialized economies and emerging industrial economies over the period 2010-2019. The study adopts both demand- and supply-side approaches and hence renewable sources are handled in two different structures, i.

Melon seeds, known for their nutritious compounds, are often treated as waste. This study aimed to improve the nutritional properties of cakes by adding melon seed flour (MSF), which contains high levels of ash, lipid, protein, and fiber, as a substitute for whole wheat flour and fat at concentrations of 40% and 60%.

In the world and in our country, the most common death cause after cardiovascular diseases in the order of diseases that result in death is cancer. This descriptive, cross-sectional study is done in order to determine the relationship between fatigue and social support levels of cancer patients.

It is of importance to select the best model among candidate models proposed for a series in terms of explaining the procedure that governs the series and providing the most accurate forecast for the future observations. In this study, it is aimed to create an algorithm for order selection in Box-Jenkins models that combines penalized natural logarithm of mutual information among the original series and predictions coming from each candidate.

: Antenatal care is necessary for mother and infant by reducing or eliminating the risks which may occur in the antenatal and postnatal period. Ultrasound is one of the most commonly used examination methods in antenatal monitoring. Evaluating the expectations, experiences and reactions of both parents during routine ultrasound examinations is essential to provide the best antenatal care.

Miniature batteries can accelerate the development of mobile electronics by providing sufficient energy to power small devices. Typical microbatteries commonly use thin-film inorganic electrodes based on Li-ion insertion reaction. However, they rely on the complicated thin-film synthesis method of inorganics containing many elements.

Here we investigate the use of bacteria, sustainable and naturally abundant materials, as a pore template. The bacteria require no chemical synthesis, come in variable sizes and shapes, degrade easier and are approximately a million times cheaper than conventional porogens.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the swallowing-induced vertical and horizontal displacements of the HB in subjects with 2 different magnitudes of skeletal Class III malocclusion, by means of real-time, balanced turbo-field-echo (B-TFE) cine-magnetic resonance imaging.
Methods: The study population comprised 19 patients with mild skeletal Class III malocclusion, 16 with severe skeletal Class III malocclusion, and 20 with a skeletal Class I relationship.
