Purpose: Although burnout among audiologists has been studied in various countries, there is no research yet that examines this issue in Türkiye, where working conditions and sociodemographic factors may differ from those in other countries. Considering the unique working conditions and sociodemographic factors, this study aimed to investigate the burnout levels of Turkish audiologists. Additionally, this study will explore the impact of various sociodemographic variables on burnout, work-related quality of life, and depression to gain a deeper understanding of the specific challenges faced by audiologists in Türkiye.

Music significantly affects the quality of life (QoL) of CI users. Individually and culturally influenced music perception exceeds psychophysical measures in capturing the subjective music enjoyment of CI users.

Most complications are non-life threatening and are resolved with conservative measures. However, rare complications may need invasive precautions, ranging from percutaneous interventions to surgeries.

The video ocular counter-roll (vOCR) test is a recent addition to the videonystagmography test battery that allows for video recording and quantitative ocular counter-roll analysis. The purpose of this study is to investigate potential discrepancies in vOCR measurements obtained from a 30° lateral head tilt in the roll plane versus measurements obtained from a 30° tilt of the head and body.

(2) Methods: Twelve subjects, previously diagnosed with dystonia were enrolled. Their existing records were utilized to assess the changes in their posture and dystonic contractions.

In this study, epidemiological, clinical and laboratory parameters of 107 CCHF-positive and 71 CCHF-negative patients were compared. Alanine amino transferase, aspartate aminotransferase, creatine kinase, lactate dehydrogenase, red blood cell, hemoglobin and hematocrit were significantly higher in CCHF-positive patients, whereas total and direct bilirubin, alkaline phosphatase, prothrombin time, international normalization ratio, white blood cell, C-reactive protein and procalcitonin were higher in CCHF-negative patients.

However, there is an important gap between validating models technically and clinically. To this end, a six-step framework necessary for the development, validation, and integration of quantitative tools in the clinic was recently proposed under the name of the Quantitative Neuroradiology Initiative (QNI).

The extracted liver can be divided and transplanted into 2 recipients, which is called domino split-liver transplantation in the literature. However, in our study, the domino liver was obtained from a pediatric patient.

Materials And Methods: We compiled a literature review of chylothorax cases after abdominal surgery and analyzed the cases related to liver transplant.
Vascular calcification is an active pathological process, characterised by cellular dysregulation and subsequent changes to the extracellular environment. In vivo detection of vascular calcification is only possible late stage via computed tomography, and there is no single biomarker for detecting progression of vascular calcification. There is an unmet clinical need to determine progression of vascular calcification in vulnerable patients.

Methods: Laparoscopic donor left-side and right-side hepatectomy cases were included in the study because of their excessive transection area and bleeding potential. Medical records of living donors were reviewed in terms of age, sex, body mass index (BMI), presence of consanguinity with the recipient, perioperative and early postoperative biochemical parameters, hemodynamic changes during surgery, duration of surgery, the ratio of liver volume to total liver volume, perioperative complications, and length of hospital stay.
Purpose: The inflammation of the heart muscle is referred to as acute myocarditis. Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) has become the primary method for a non-invasive assessment of myocardial inflammation. However, there are several drawbacks of CMR.
