Unlabelled: Objectives: Social jetlag (SJL), the discrepancy between an individual's inherent circadian rhythm and external social schedule, is associated with obesity. This study aimed to investigate whether SJL also influences body weight and body fat loss during dieting. Methods: This was an observational study from 2015 to 2018 with participants who had joined an exercise and nutrition program at a private personal training gym.

Methods: Observational case report.
Results: A 52-year-old man had a sudden loss of vision in the left eye.
Human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-DPB1 antigens are mismatched in approximately 70% of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantations (allo-HSCT) from HLA 10/10 matched unrelated donors. HLA-DP-mismatched transplantation was shown to be associated with an increase in acute graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and a decreased risk of leukemia relapse due to the graft-versus-leukemia (GVL) effect. Immunotherapy targeting mismatched HLA-DP is considered reasonable to treat leukemia following allo-HCT if performed under non-inflammatory conditions.

However, some patients continue to have poor mobility after surgery. The preoperative identification of patients with poor mobility after TKA allows for better treatment selection and appropriate goal setting.

Materials And Methods: This study enrolled 15 patients with CLAI and 30 healthy volunteers. The entire ATFL T2* values from the MRI T2* mapping were measured.
Objective: Ultra-short TE (UTE) sequences on MRI are a technique that improves the visualization of tissues with short T2 relaxation time, such as deep cartilage layers. In addition, T2* relaxation time calculated from the UTE has the potential to evaluate water molecules bound to the cartilage matrix. This study was performed to determine if there is an association between UTE-T2* relaxation time by cartilage layer and histological degeneration in knee osteoarthritis (OA).

Background: It has been suggested that lower limb strength related to persistent postsurgical pain. The aim of the present study was to investigate the relationships of pre-operative or postoperative cross-sectional area (CSA) of the thigh muscles with knee pain or patient satisfaction after total knee arthroplasty (TKA).
Methods: Twenty patients who had undergone TKA (3 men and 17 women; mean age 75.

Immune checkpoints suppress inappropriate immune responses to self-molecules or cells. Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4) and programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) expressed in T cells are representative molecules involved in the immune checkpoint system. The recent advent of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) has drastically changed cancer immunotherapy because a substantial proportion of patients with advanced cancers have responded to ICIs and some of them have been cured.

Human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-DPB1 mismatch occurs in approximately 70% of unrelated allo-HSCT cases, and targeting mismatched HLA-DPB1 is considered reasonable for treating relapsed leukemia following allo-HSCT if performed under proper conditions. In this study, we established several clones restricted to HLA-DPB1*02:01, -DPB1*04:02, and -DPB1*09:01 from three patients who underwent HLA-DPB1 mismatched allo-HSCT using donor-derived alloreactive T cells primed to mismatched HLA-DPB1 in the recipient's body after transplantation.

Objectives: Intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM), a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanning technique that applies diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI), is effective for the quantitative assessment of malignant tumors of the vertebral bone. We hypothesized that IVIM parameters of vertebral bodies are associated with the prognosis of osteoporotic vertebral fracture (OVF).
A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan was performed to rule out a sternal fracture in a woman in 30s. Short tau inversion recovery (STIR) coronal showed no signal change in the sternum but increased signal from the mediastinum to the anterior thoracic region. We could not detect significant findings until midway through the examination.

However, quantitative evaluation of intervertebral disc (IVD) with MRI such as T1rho, T2, and T2* have not been previously analyzed and compared directly in the same patients.
Purpose: To investigate T1rho, T2, and T2* of IVD degeneration in the same patients, reveal the correlation coefficients of these values, and evaluate which values are more sensitive to detect the degree of IVD degeneration.
Remote work was widely promoted in 2020, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the effects of remote work on psychological and physical stress responses and presenteeism of workers remain unclear. This research aims to provide empirical evidence of the implications for people and organizations of this new scenario of working from home.

However, residual therapeutic antibodies such as elotuzumab (IgG-κ), can compromise IFE evaluation when the affected immunoglobulins belong to the same IgG-κ subclass. We thus sought to develop a simple and rapid method to treat patient serum before IFE to distinguish the residual elotuzumab.

The AF was changed from 2 to 20 in the MR acquisitions. The similarities between the accelerated and reference images were determined based on the structural similarity (SSIM) index for DWI image and coefficient of variation (%CV) for ADC.

To grow seaweed well, the formation of biofilms is an essential process in biofouling. This study focused on the formation of initial biofilms on steelmaking slag samples and analyzed the resulting bacterial communities using the next-generation sequencing technique.

Minor histocompatibility antigens (mHAgs) in allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation are highly immunogenic as they are foreign antigens and cause polymorphism between donors and recipients. Adoptive cell therapy with mHAg-specific T cells may be an effective option for therapy against recurring hematological malignancies following transplantation. Genetically modified T cells with T cell receptors (TCRs) specific to mHAgs have been developed, but formation of mispaired chimeric TCRs between endogenous and exogenous TCR chains may compromise their function.

During this period, several other immune checkpoint blockers have been newly developed and approved for certain cancers, including malignant melanoma. However, there have been several concerns with some of these.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the morphological characteristics of the lateral ankle ligaments in injured patients and uninjured controls using 3D MRI.
Methods: A total of 64 ankles of 59 healthy volunteers and lateral ligament injury patients (mean age of 32.
Viral infection induces potent cellular immunity and activated intracellular signaling, which may dictate the driver events involved in immune escape and clonal selection of virus-associated cancers, including Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-positive lymphomas. Here, we thoroughly interrogated PD-L1/PD-L2-involving somatic aberrations in 384 samples from various lymphoma subtypes using high-throughput sequencing, particularly focusing on virus-associated lymphomas. A high frequency of PD-L1/PD-L2-involving genetic aberrations was observed in EBV-positive lymphomas [33 (22%) of 148 cases], including extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma (ENKTL, 23%), aggressive NK-cell leukemia (57%), systemic EBV-positive T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder (17%) as well as EBV-positive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL, 19%) and peripheral T-cell lymphoma-not otherwise specified (15%).

We prospectively conducted morphological measurements of the CFL in different ankle positions and obtain basic data for use in functional assessment of the CFL, diagnosis of CFL injury, and determination of treatment effects.
Methods: The subjects were ten healthy volunteers (ten ankles) with a mean age of 27.
