Traumatic injuries to primary dentition may interfere with the development of permanent dentition. Among the many malformations, dilaceration is particularly important to the clinician. Management of dilacerated maxillary central incisor requires a multidisciplinary approach.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFThe present case report describes the treatment of a 12-year-old boy who had skeletal Class III malocclusion with concave facial profile, hypodivergent facial pattern with anterior cross bite and deep overbite. The treatment plan included rapid palatal expansion with maxillary protraction and fixed edgewise appliance. The results show that anterior cross bite was corrected and facial esthetics greatly improved after about two years of treatment.
