Various digital therapeutic products have been validated and approved since 2017. They have demonstrated efficacy and safety as a new therapeutic modality in various disorders or conditions. Hypertension is a common but serious condition that can be prevented or controlled with lifestyle changes and medicines.

Vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs), after attaining a senescent phenotype, are implicated in the calcifying process. However, the underlying mechanism remains to be elucidated.

Vascular calcification (VC), an actively regulated process, has been recognized as an independent and strong predictor of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and mortality worldwide. Diet has been shown to have a major role in the progression of VC. Oxidative stress (OS), a common pro-calcification factor, is closely related to VC, and evidence strongly suggests that dietary antioxidants directly prevent VC.

Vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) osteogenic transdifferentiation is the crucial pathological basis for VC. To date, the molecular pathogenesis is still largely unclear.

Dysregulation, impairment or inadvertent activation of complement system contributes to the pathogenesis of some autoimmune diseases and cardiovascular diseases (CVD). Vascular calcification is the pivotal pathological basis of CVD, and contributes to the high morbidity and mortality of CVD.

Some factors that affect the progression of thoracic aortic calcification (TAC) in survivors are unclear, and this study aims to explore the relationship between dexamethasone or radiotherapy and the progression of TAC in survivors. This study included 189 female patients with breast cancer, and they were divided into the progression and non-progression TAC groups.

However, the implications and potential mechanisms for VSMCs phenotypic transition remain unknown. To study the transformation of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) in the calcification early period, we analyzed single-cell sequencing data from carotid artery calcified core and paracellular tissue, based on the results of enrichment analysis and protein-protein interaction analysis.

This study concentrates on the relationship between antipsychotic drugs (APDs) and aortic calcification. All 56 patients with schizophrenia were divided into two groups according to aortic calcification index. APD equivalent dose was calculated via defined daily doses method.

We aimed to assess the cost-effectiveness of durvalumab in patients with extensive-stage SCLC from the US healthcare system perspective.
Patients And Methods: A comprehensive Markov model was adapted to evaluate cost and effectiveness of durvalumab combination versus platinum/etoposide alone in the first-line therapy of extensive-stage SCLC based on data from the CASPIAN study.
