Numerous studies investigated the variation of soil ammonia oxidizing microorganisms along the geographic distance, but few highlighted the associated influence of agricultural practices on ammonia oxidizing communities and functions. To make up this gap, we determined the variation of ammonia-oxidizing archaea (AOA), bacteria (AOB), and soil nitrification within eight typical agricultural plots across China. Method: This study investigated the composition and diversity of fungal communities and its key driving factors by collecting 90 soil samples from the acidic region of Jiaodong Peninsula China, spanning 3 × 10 km.
Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of butylphthalein injection combined with alteplase thrombolysis in patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI) and its effects on lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) and CXC chemokine ligand 16 (CXCL16) levels.
Methods: A total of 127 ACI patients admitted to Shandong Provincial Third Hospital between March 2020 and June 2023 were included and divided into a butylphthalein group (n = 67) and a control group (n = 60) based on their treatment regimen. All patients received basic treatment.

In this study, using batch experiments, we evaluated the adsorption and desorption of sulfadiazine (SDZ), tetracycline (TC), and norfloxacin (NFX) using four different soil aggregate size fractions and discovered that: (1) TC had the highest adsorption (76-98 %) and the lowest desorption in each tested system, whereas SDZ showed opposite adsorption and desorption ability, (2) the highest adsorption and the lowest desorption of all three tested antibiotics were observed with soil macroaggregates (250-2000 µm) in all the cases; in contrast, opposite adsorption and desorption ability were observed for soil clay (<53 µm), and (3) adsorption of each antibiotic was in the following order: single system (71-89 %) > binary system (56-84 %) > ternary system (50-78 %); however, desorption were in the reverse order. The Freundlich equation fitting and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) analysis further demonstrated that the adsorption competition between the tested antibiotics depended mainly on the specific surface area of each soil aggregate size fractions and its chemical properties.

This work developed an environmentally-friendly soil remediation method based on BC and g-CN, and demonstrated the technical feasibility of remediating petroleum-contaminated soil with biochar/graphite carbon nitride (BC/g-CN). The synthesis of BC/g-CN composites was used for the removal of TPH in soil via adsorption and photocatalysis.
