Structural and functional characterization of the RBBP4-ZNF827 interaction and its role in NuRD recruitment to telomeres.

The nucleosome remodeling and histone deacetylase (NuRD) complex is an essential multi-subunit protein complex that regulates higher-order chromatin structure. Cancers that use the alternative lengthening of telomere (ALT) pathway of telomere maintenance recruit NuRD to their telomeres. This interaction is mediated by the N-terminal domain of the zinc-finger protein ZNF827.

Exogenous melatonin inhibits neutrophil migration through suppression of ERK activation.

Neutrophil migration to inflammatory sites is the fundamental process of innate immunity among organisms against pathogen invasion. As a major sleep adjusting hormone, melatonin has also been proved to be involved in various inflammatory events. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of exogenous melatonin on neutrophil migration to the injury site in live zebrafish and further investigate whether ERK signaling is involved in this process.
