Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 79 patients with SBT treated at the Department of Urology, People's Liberation Army General Hospital, from January to December 2023.
Accumulating evidence suggests that specific probiotic strains exert effects on hemolytic jaundice (HJ), and probiotic strains of Lactobacillus rhamnosus exhibit potential beneficial effects against HJ. This study aimed to determine the effects of L. rhamnosus MP108 (MP108) on rats with acetylphenylhydrazine (APH)-induced HJ.

This retrospective study included 137 AP patients and 30 healthy controls from Hunan Provincial People's Hospital (January 2021-September 2023). Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses assessed the associations between biomarkers and severe acute pancreatitis (SAP).

To address these challenges, new low-k dielectric (k < 2) materials need to be developed to replace current silicon dioxide (k = 3.9) or SiCOH, etc.

Based on the principle of positive and negative electric combination, ZnO nanoparticles is selected as the matrix for immobilizing urease and uricase with selective recognition ability, which can also be used as a sensitizing material to increase the refractive index detection sensitivity of SPR by 22%. Then, Nafion ion exchange membrane was introduced to wrap the urea sensing area to avoid crosstalk caused by the overlap of adjacent sensing areas.

Background: Robot-assisted radical cystectomy (RARC) has become widely adopted due to its numerous advantages, with the da Vinci robotic surgical system being the most commonly used across the globe. However, the high cost limits its broader application.
Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of performing RARC using the more economical MP1000 surgical system.

Since the MoSiN monolayer was synthesized experimentally, the family of 2D septuple-layer MoSiN-like materials have attracted widespread attention. However, to date, research on such materials in the thermoelectric field has been rarely reported. In this work, combining first-principles calculations and Boltzmann transport equations, we have investigated the electronic and thermal transport properties of the MoPGaS monolayer.

Its neurotoxic, muscle-damaging, and pro-inflammatory properties may be related to overactive bladder (OAB), though few studies have assessed its impact on urinary function. This study aimed to examine the potential link between cadmium exposure and OAB.

However, their inherent instability in water and biological fluids has limited their use as photocatalysts in the aqueous phase. In this study, we present highly water-stable SiO-coated HPNCs as efficient photocatalysts for antimicrobial applications.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFSingle-cell ribonucleic acid sequencing (scRNA-seq) is a high-throughput genomic technique that is utilized to investigate single-cell transcriptomes. Cluster analysis can effectively reveal the heterogeneity and diversity of cells in scRNA-seq data, but existing clustering algorithms struggle with the inherent high dimensionality, noise, and sparsity of scRNA-seq data. To overcome these limitations, we propose a clustering algorithm: the Dual Correlation Reduction network-based Extreme Learning Machine (DCRELM).

We aim to identify changes in the lung-gut microbiota and lung-plasma tryptophan metabolites in NARDS neonates to provide a differentiated tool and aid in finding potential therapeutic targets.
Patients And Methods: Lower respiratory secretions, faeces and plasma were collected from 50 neonates including 25 NARDS patients (10 patients with mild NARDS in the NARDS_M group and 15 patients with moderate-to-severe NARDS in the NARDS_S group) and 25 control patients screened based on gestational age, postnatal age and birth weight.
Background: The incidence of Talaromyces marneffei (T. marneffei) infection has increased in recent years with the development of organ transplantation and the widespread use of immunosuppressive agents. However, the lack of clinical suspicion leading to delay or misdiagnosis is an important reason for the high mortality rate in non-human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and non-endemic population.
