Background: This study aimed to investigate the knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) toward oral health management among orthodontic patients.

Methods: A cross-sectional study on orthodontic patients was conducted at Suzhou Dushu Lake Hospital from December 20, 2023, to March 19, 2024. Demographic data and KAP scores were collected using self-designed questionnaires.

Tic disorders (TD) are childhood-onset neurological disorders. Immune system dysregulation has been postulated to play a role in TD, and its mechanisms likely involve dysfunctional neural-immune cross-talk, which ultimately leads to altered maturation of the brain pathways that control different TD clinical manifestations and behavioral and emotional damages. Clinical studies have demonstrated an association between TD and allergies and overactive immune responses at a systemic level.

Objectives: Peptest is a new non-invasive reflux diagnostic test based on lateral flow technology that containing two highly specific human pepsin monoclonal antibodies for detecting pepsin, a biomarker for reflux disease. The primary aim of this multicenter clinical study was to validate the efficacy of Peptest in patients diagnosed with gastroesophageal reflux and healthy controls in China.

Methods: Patients with suspected gastroesophageal reflux underwent an endoscopy and were classified into non-erosive reflux disease and erosive esophagitis subgroups.

In this work, HfO /HfO homo-bilayer structure based resistive random access memory devices were fabricated, and the resistive switching characteristics of the devices were investigated. The samples with an Ar/O ratio of 12 : 2 exhibited improved switching performance including better uniformity, endurance and retention, which was selected to imitate the "learning" and "forgetting" function of biological synapses. The multilevel conductance of the HfO /HfO homo-bilayer structure under the model of pulse voltage suggests its potential to emulate the nonlinear transmission characteristics of the synapse, and a model of multilevel conductance of the HfO /HfO homo-bilayer structure was proposed.

The aim of this study is to conduct in vivo, noninvasive magnetic resonance imaging of labeled rat bone mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) as they home into the site of injured common carotid artery following allograft transplantation. Our study was approved by the Institutional Committee on Animal Research. Purified rat BMSCs were dual labeled with superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO) particle and fluorescent DiI dye, and subsequently transplanted into recipient rats injured in the left common carotid arteries.
