This study aims to investigate the effect of Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA), a bioactive endodontic cement, and Concentrated Growth Factor (CGF), a second-generation autologous growth factor, on pulpotomy-induced pulp inflammation. The study utilized the maxillary anterior central teeth of thirty-six young male Sprague Dawley rats. Forty-eight teeth were randomly assigned to two groups (12 rats/group; 24 teeth/group) based on the capping material (MTA or CGF).

Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the removal efficiency of PRMTA and ECMPremixed applied to the coronal third according to the RET by UI and to examine the effect of different solutions on material removal.

Materials And Methods: 40 permanent upper central teeth were used to simulate immature teeth. The samples were irrigated with 1.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of manual dynamic activation (MDA), passive ultrasonic irrigation (PUI), and laser-activated irrigation (shock wave-enhanced emission photoacoustic streaming (SWEEPS)) on the periapical healing of large periapical lesions following nonsurgical root canal treatment.

Materials And Methods: A total of fifty-six systemically healthy patients with a mandibular single-rooted tooth with periapical lesions of endodontic origin and a periapical index score of 3 or higher were included in the study. Before the treatment procedures, lesion volumes were determined volumetrically using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT).

Introduction: The aim was to evaluate the stress distributions on dentin and repair materials caused by static force applied to teeth, with cervical external root resorption (CER) after repair with different materials using finite element analysis.

Methods: This study was performed with the 3-dimensional finite element analysis method. Access cavity, root canal cavity dimensions, and supporting tissues other than cementum were modeled in the maxillary central tooth.

Fractal analysis (FA) is a quantitative, objective and non-invasive method that facilitates the characterisation of the tissue architecture. This study aims to compare the periapical healing at 1-year follow-up by evaluating newly generated trabecular bone with FA after Mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) plug and regenerative endodontic treatment (RET). A total of 55 asymptomatic teeth with a single-canal, open apex and periapical lesion, treated with MTA plug or RET, were evaluated retrospectively.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the technical treatment quality and the status of apical pathology of endodontically treated teeth, as well as apical periodontitis (AP) prevalence, in a Turkish population using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). The CBCT images obtained between January 2018 and April 2020 were retrospectively examined. The quality of the endodontic treatments and the related periapical inflammatory lesions were classified according to the periapical and endodontic status scale (PESS).
