Introduction: Following rehabilitation, patients are often unable to continue with the behavioral changes they had learned there in the long term. It is therefore important to offer aftercare services to improve self-management. Internet-based and telephone aftercare concepts in particular are low-cost and flexible in application, and offer an opportunity to significantly increase the use of aftercare measures.

Next-generation sequencing (NGS)-based techniques have unveiled the landscape of actionable fusions in cancer. However, these approaches remain insufficient to provide optimal treatment options for patients with cancer.

However, because many of the genes analyzed on tumor profiling overlap with those known to be associated with hereditary cancer predisposition syndromes (HCPS), tumor-only profiling can unknowingly uncover germline pathogenic (P) and likely pathogenic variants (LPV). In this study, we evaluated the number of patients with P/LPVs identified in and () via tumor-only profiling, then determined the germline testing outcomes for those patients.

These patients receive long-term care in different nursing facilities (nursing home, shared living community, private home). However, there are limited data available on the quality of care of HMV patients.

Thus, we conducted this phase II study to assess the antitumor activity of adavosertib in patients with -amplified, advanced refractory solid tumors.
Patients And Methods: Patients aged ≥ 18 years with measurable disease and refractory solid tumors harboring amplification, an Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status of 0-1, and adequate organ function were studied.
Patients with rare solid tumors treated on early phase trials experience toxicities from their tumors and treatments. However, limited data exist to describe the detailed symptom burden suffered by these patients, particularly those with rare solid tumors treated with immunotherapy. We performed a prospective longitudinal study to capture patient-reported symptom burden.

We reviewed the medical records of patients with solid tumors displaying CCNE1 amplification to determine the effect of this amplification for future therapeutic development. We reviewed the medical records of patients with advanced solid tumors harboring CCNE1 amplification who were seen at the phase I clinic between September 1, 2012, and December 31, 2019.

Median survival is approximately 8 months for metastatic disease. We report results for advanced MpBC treated with ipilimumab + nivolumab, a cohort of S1609 for rare cancers (DART: NCT02834013).

The study objective was to investigate the adoption of prophylactic olanzapine for the prevention of nausea, vomiting and anorexia in cancer patients receiving selinexor and standard chemotherapy.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed supportive care interventions in patients receiving selinexor and recorded frequency of adverse events (NCI-CTAE).
Immune checkpoint therapy (ICT) provides substantial clinical benefits to cancer patients, but a large proportion of cancers do not respond to ICT. To date, the genomic underpinnings of primary resistance to ICT remain elusive. Here, we performed immunogenomic analysis of data from TCGA and clinical trials of anti-PD-1/PD-L1 therapy, with a particular focus on homozygous deletion of 9p21.

People on HMV have complex care needs and require support from an interprofessional team. In Germany, HMV is criticised for inadequate quality standards, particularly in outpatient intensive care practice.

Blocking the PD-1-PD-L1 axis has shown promising activity in this patient population. We assessed the safety and antitumor activity of PD-1 inhibitor pembrolizumab in patients with refractory advanced CSCC.

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed medical records of 174 patients treated with at least one dose of selinexor in combination with multiple standard chemotherapy or immunotherapy agents between July 2015 and July 2020 at a comprehensive cancer center in the U.S.

In 11 datasets (n = 211,726), ERBB2 mutational hotspots varied across 25 tumor types. Common HER2 mutants yielded differential sensitivities to eleven EGFR/HER2 tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) in vitro, and molecular dynamics simulations revealed that mutants with a reduced drug-binding pocket volume were associated with decreased affinity for larger TKIs.

This paper seeks to provide an overview of the current state of research on this topic of relevance to health services research. Background And Study Objectives: Although teachers play an important role regarding early recognition of psychological problems in students, they have been largely neglected in research as a target group for interventions. In this study, a training for teachers was developed that aimed at improving knowledge and self-efficacy/subjective competencies with regard to the early recognition of mental distress in secondary school students with a specific focus on depressive symptoms (by means of providing information, interviewing techniques, and important contact persons).
Methods: A training module comprising 4 h directed at teachers in secondary schools was developed and tested in 6 schools in a pre-post evaluation design.
OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS, THE GERMAN PENSION INSURANCE HAS IMPLEMENTED A NEW METHOD OF QUALITY ASSURANCE FOR INPATIENT REHABILITATION OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS DIAGNOSED WITH BRONCHIAL ASTHMA, OBESITY, OR ATOPIC DERMATITIS: the so-called rehabilitation treatment standards (RTS). They aim at promoting a comprehensive and evidence-based care in rehabilitation. Furthermore, they are intended to make the therapeutic processes in medical rehabilitation as well as potential deficits more transparent.
