Objective: There are variations in prognosis and therapeutic approach for renal cell carcinoma among different histological subtypes. This study aims to determine the relationship between radiologically detected peritumoral neovascularization and the histological subtypes of Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC) and to assess whether extratumoral neovascularization characteristics detected via imaging can contribute to distinguishing these subtypes alongside tumor size and T-stage.
Materials And Methods: 104 renal tumors from 104 cases consisting of 31 females (29.
Objective: The hallmarks of Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT) include the destruction of thyroid cells by leading to insulin resistance (IR), hypothyroidism, and metabolic abnormalities. Kisspeptin, spexin, and galanin control appetite and body weight (BW) to regulate metabolisms. Here, we sought to determine if galanin, kisspeptin, and spexin are linked to the pathophysiology of HT in euthyroid female individuals.

Objective: The aim of the study was to evaluate the ionizing radiation exposure in patients with Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Materials And Methods: This was a retrospective study in which all patients presented with suggestive symptoms of COVID-19 were included. The study was carried out in a university-affiliated private hospital in Istanbul, Turkey.
Purpose: To evaluate the diffusion properties of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) concerning their Fuhrman nuclear grades and sizes, and to compare the diagnostic performance of two ROI placement techniques for apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) measurement (entire mass vs. only the darkest region of the mass).
Material And Methods: Fifty-one ccRCC were enrolled in the study and grouped into low-grade ccRCC (Fuhrman grade 1 and 2, = 37) and high-grade ccRCC (Fuhrman grade 3 and 4, = 14).
Objective: Hyperthermic preconditioning has been shown to protect against different insults in experimental studies. However, clinical studies assessing its effects remain limited. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of hyperthermic preconditioning on the rate of surgical site infection and inflammatory reaction in patients undergoing elective colorectal cancer surgery.

Background: Brucellosis can lead to different clinical pictures such as hepatomegaly, granulomatous liver disease, hepatic abscess, and it can cause mild hepatic transaminase elevation in the laboratory investigations.
Case Report: We found out that the etiologic agent was Brucella in our two cases admitted with acute hepatitis presentation in the investigations conducted. Liver transaminases were as follows for case 1 and case 2; AST: 306/187U/L, ALT: 368/312U/L, ALP: 355/264U/L, GGT: 116/197U/L, LDH: 887/549U/L, respectively.
Objectives: To determine the sonoelastographic findings for the normal brachial plexus via shear wave elastography (SWE) and strain elastography (SE) and the reliability of the measurements.
Methods: Thirty-nine healthy adult volunteers were included in the study. The brachial plexus was evaluated with SWE and SE at the interscalene region by 2 observers separately, and the observers were unaware of each other's outcomes.
Objective: This study was designed to evaluate the perioperative nutritional status of patients undergoing surgery for gastrointestinal cancer using Subjective Global Assessment and surgeon behavior on nutritional support.
Material And Methods: We recruited 100 patients undergoing surgery for gastrointestinal cancer in one university and two state teaching hospitals. Subjective Global Assessment was administered to evaluate preoperative and postoperative nutritional status.
An emergency intervention was performed in a 75-year-old male patient with hypoglycemic attack and blackout. Although he was diagnosed with prediabetes before 2 years, he did not take any anti-diabetic drug or follow dietary advice. He drank Vaccinium corymbosum L (VC) juice daily with a belief that it increases sexual potency.
