Purpose: This study aims to assess the combination of anterior lamellar recession (ALR) with blepharoplasty, suprasternal fixation, and internal eyelash bulb extirpation of aberrant lashes posteriorly located in patients with any grade of upper eyelid trachomatous cicatricial entropion.
Patients And Methods: We reviewed the clinical data of eighty-six patients (143 eyelids) including age, gender, systemic medical illnesses, and comprehensive ophthalmological assessment. Eyelid evaluation was recorded, including laterality, previous surgical technique used, possible trichiasis etiology, abnormality of the lid margin, tarsal plate consistency (shrinkage or loosening), skin fold overhanging, laxity of the pretarsal skin, margin reflex distance 1 (MRD1), lagophthalmos, and lid retraction.
Purpose: To evaluate changes in higher order aberrations (HOAs) induced by implantable collamer lens (ICL) implantation in correction of high myopia and to compare the anterior segment parameters before and after surgery. Also, to correlate these parameters with HOAs, the best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) and intraocular pressure (IOP).
Methods: This prospective interventional cohort case series study included 40 eyes with high myopia that underwent ICL V4c implantation.
The current study was aimed to estimate the entrance surface air kerma (ESAK, mGy) for adult patients undergoing conventional radiography of Anteroposterior pelvis examination, and finally to establish a local diagnostic reference level (DRL). A total of 500 patients were exposed to diagnostic radiation in four hospitals (coded A, B, C, and D) in Taif and Kharaj city, Saudi Arabia, with different X-ray equipment specifications. Patient demographic data like age (y), body mass index (BMI) in kg/m as well as exposure factors and X-ray tube output were recorded.

Methods: This study included 65 adult patients aged 20 - 60 years who were admitted to the surgical ICU. The CCA diameter and CVP were measured before and after fluid challenge, and the percentage of increase in the CCA diameter and CVP were calculated.

Background: Mastectomy is a common surgical procedure associated with intra and postoperative pain if untreated adequately will lead to chronic pain.
Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of serratus anterior plane block using bupivacaine/magnesium sulfate versus bupivacaine/ nalbuphine for mastectomy.
Methods: 40 ASA I and II female patients age 25 - 60 years underwent breast cancer surgery received the block before induction of general anesthesia were divided into two groups GBM (n = 20): (bupivacaine/magnesium sulphate): received bupivacaine 30 mL 0.
Despite its known central effect, 5% of serotonin is found centrally, while around 95% is found peripherally. Serotonin is stored and co-released with insulin upon pancreatic islets stimulation by glucose. This fact raises the curiosity regarding its possible role in diabetes.
