Artificial Intelligence is playing a crucial role in healthcare by enhancing decision-making and data analysis, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. This virus affects individuals across all age groups, but its impact is more severe on the elderly and those with underlying health issues like chronic diseases. This study aimed to develop a machine learning model to improve the prediction of COVID-19 in patients with acute respiratory symptoms.

Current Status of Adult Post-Cardiac Surgery Critical Care in Saudi Arabia.

Objective: The field of cardiac surgery in Saudi Arabia has developed significantly over the years, with more advanced procedures being performed for high-risk patients with multiple comorbidities. This poses challenging postoperative management issues requiring multidisciplinary, highly organized expert care in cardiovascular critical care. This survey aimed to describe the current state of postoperative critical care for cardiac surgeries in Saudi Arabia.

Left anterior descending artery aneurysm in a young patient with familial retinal arterial macroaneurysm: A case report.

Purpose: Familial retinal arterial macroaneurysm (FRAM) is a rare genetic disorder caused by a gene mutation in the insulin-like growth factor binding protein 7 (IGFBP7).

Observations: We report a 30-year-old male with FRAM and IGFBP7 gene mutation who presented with an acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Invasive coronary angiography revealed a large aneurysm at the proximal part of the left anterior descending (LAD) artery.

Ventilator Management of Bronchopleural Fistula Secondary to Methicillin-Resistant Necrotizing Pneumonia in a Pregnant Patient with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.

Managing mechanical ventilation in patient with bronchopleural fistula with coexisting acute respiratory distress syndrome is a challenging situation for the intensivist. We are reporting a case of a pregnant patient with systemic lupus erythematosus on immunosuppressive medications who developed methicillin-resistant necrotizing pneumonia complicated by bronchopleural fistula and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
