This case report aims to document a case of bilateral endotheliitis occurring shortly after riboflavin-assisted cross-linking (CXL) in a young male patient with progressive keratoconus. The objective is to identify potential risk factors, treatment strategies, and outcomes while considering relevant literature on similar cases. A male in his late adolescence with bilateral progressive keratoconus underwent bilateral CXL using riboflavin and ultraviolet A light exposure.

Methods: This retrospective chart review study was conducted at King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and included all the microbial keratitis cases, male and female patients of all ages.
Purpose: The study aims to assess the perception of optical spectacles use among the Ha'il region population in Saudi Arabia.
Patients And Methods: A cross-sectional survey was distributed via various social media applications to the residents of the Ha'il region. An online questionnaire was designed and included informed consent and questions assessing the participants' perceptions about wearing eyeglasses, contact lenses, and general eye health.
Tumors of the pineal region typically present with symptoms and signs of mass effect and increased intracranial pressure. However, although rare and can be overlooked, hearing impairment is a potential clinical finding in these cases. The authors describe a 24-year-old male who presented to the emergency room complaining of bilateral hearing impairment.

MRI is not frequently used as a first-line investigation for patients presenting with LBP, except in the presence of red-flag symptoms. This study aimed to use pain severity and its impact as a predictor for MRI findings to help physicians decide whether a patient needs an MRI.

Therefore, the focus of the current study was to address the challenge of removing emergent chemical and biological pollutants present in municipal wastewater. To achieve this, a photo electro-catalytic (PEC) treatment approach was employed, focusing on the removal of both micro and biological pollutants that are of emergent concern, as well as the reduction of Chemical Oxidation Demand (COD) and Total Organic Carbon (TOC).

To use treated wastewater for irrigation purposes a wide range of contaminants removal was focused on in this study (turbidity, hardness, conductivity, TDS, TSS, chloride, Ammonia nitrogen, BOD, COD, and total coliform). Raw municipal wastewater (RMWW) was treated in a modified Bio-Electrocoagulation (BEC) cell.

We have previously reported the overall residents' satisfaction with the current local ophthalmology curriculum and the competency of the ophthalmic training (clinical and surgical) in our local programs in Saudi Arabia compared to international standards. In this study, we aim at comparing the major local training programs and analyze the differences among them aiming at improving our training.

Evidence shows that disruption of and altered functional connectivity between distinct brain networks contribute significantly to the pathophysiological mechanisms of schizophrenia. Transcranial magnetic stimulation has emerged as a noninvasive brain stimulation tool that can be utilized to investigate cortical excitability with the aim of probing neural plasticity mechanisms.

Methods: The medical records of all keratoconus patients undergoing TWD repair after PK or LKP over a 7-year period at the King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital (KKESH), Riyadh were reviewed. Data were collected on patient demographics, interval between keratoplasty and trauma, and characteristics and visual outcomes of TWD.
The contamination of water surfaces by mercury is a dangerous environmental problem due to its toxicity, which leads kidney damage. Activated carbon from mixed recyclable waste modified by phosphonium-based ionic liquid (IL-ACMRW) was therefore prepared and evaluated for Hg(II) remediation. The activated carbon used in this study was prepared from mixed waste, including cardboard, papers and palm wastes as cheap raw materials.
