Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are commonly administered orally to manage pain and inflammation, but they can have negative gastrointestinal side effects. Topical delivery is an alternative, and microemulsions (μEs) have been shown to be effective in facilitating, but they suffer from a liquid nature and low long-term retention on the skin. Hence, microemulsified gels (μEGs) have been developed, and in this study, we explored certain μEGs with diclofenac sodium (DF-Na) and naproxen sodium (NP-Na) with the hypothesis to ensure a slower and more sustained delivery of NSAIDs through the skin.

We develop a machine learning (ML) model using electrocardiography (ECG) to predict myocardial blood flow reserve (MFR) and assess its prognostic value for major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs). In this study, NiZnFeO composite was synthesized using a sol-gel route and subjected to nonthermal plasma treatment for tailoring their cations' distribution and physicochemical, magnetic, and photocatalytic properties. Microwave plasma treatment was given to the composites for 60 min in support of postsynthesis sintering at 700 °C for 5 h. We aimed to determine the effects of prior coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on the coronary microvasculature accounting for time from COVID-19, disease severity, SARS-CoV-2 variants, and in subgroups of patients with diabetes and those with no known coronary artery disease.
