Vein of Galen malformations (VOGMs) are rare and complex congenital vascular anomalies that can lead to severe morbidity and mortality. Management predominantly focuses on postnatal endovascular interventions. However, these may not be feasible for fetuses with hemodynamic instability and high-output cardiac failure and may fail to prevent irreversible brain damage induced by prolonged compression by the venous varix, hemodynamic alterations and resultant potential ischemic injury.

Adjunct emergent stenting is sometimes performed to improve or maintain reperfusion, despite limited data regarding its safety or efficacy.
Methods: We conducted a prospective multicenter observational international cohort study.
To compare the safety and efficacy of triazavirin (TZV) 250 mg capsules versus oseltamivir 75 mg capsules in the treatment of individuals diagnosed with COVID-19. A double-blind, randomized, interventional pilot study was conducted in a parallel design with a 7-day treatment period. The results showed that TZV is superior to oseltamivir regarding length of hospital stay, days until clinical symptoms improvement, and cure of chest pneumonia.

Objective: To compare the outcomes of endovascular embolization versus SRS in the treatment of AVMs with Spetzler-Martin grades I-III.
The study assessed the efficacy of parsley and dill essential oils (EOs) nanocapsules incorporated into fermented milk in hepato-renal protection against specific food additives. A molecular docking assay was conducted between parsley and dill EOs bioactive molecules and inflammatory cytokines. Freeze-dried parsley and dill EOs nanocapsules were developed, characterized for their morphological structure, particle size, zeta potential, polydispersity index and encapsulation efficiency and assessed in fast green dye and sodium benzoate (SB) combination-treated rats.

Methods: Studies encompassing risk factor data including gross total resection (GTR), subtotal resection (STR), post-op radiotherapy, Ki-67 % index >3 %, and location were searched for in PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science, and thereafter analyzed using robust Bayesian meta-analysis.
Background: Endovascular embolization procedures are typically the primary treatment modality for arteriovenous fistula (AVF). The objective of this subset analysis was to evaluate the prospective long-term clinical outcomes of AVF patients treated with the SMART COIL System.
Methods: Patients who had AVFs and underwent endovascular coiling using the Penumbra SMART COIL system were part of a subset analysis within the SMART registry.

We herein investigated the role of GLP-1R on T lymphocytes during immune response. Our data showed that a subset of T lymphocytes expresses GLP-1R, which is upregulated during alloimmune response, similarly to PD-1.
