Context/objective: People with spinal cord injury (SCI) are the deciding force behind the rehabilitation program to improve their quality of life (QoL) based on their personal preferences. Here we aimed to determine the preferences perceived most vital by Saudi SCI population to improve their QoL, and explore if these preferences are affected by gender, education, and duration, level, or extent of injury.
Design: Participants ranked seven priorities of bodily functions as Rank I-VII with "I" being "Most important," and "VII" being "Least important.

Methods: This retrospective study identified 140 patients aged >/=16 years who were admitted to the TBI rehabilitation unit at King Fahad Medical City, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia between 2015 and 2017. The collected data included demographic variables, TBI cause, coma duration, time from injury to IPR, LOS, and Functional Independence Measure (FIM) scores at IPR admission and discharge.
Spinal cord injury without radiological abnormality is a rare entity and has not been reported to occur secondary to active neck stretching. The case report highlights the possible mechanisms of injury and functional outcomes of multidisciplinary rehabilitation.

Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the data of patients with MS who underwent inpatient rehabilitation between 2009 and 2015 at King Fahad Medical City (KFMC). Differences in Functional Independence Measure (FIM) scores (used in rehabilitation settings to assess the functional independence of patients) and length of stay (LOS) were measured between patients of different ages, sexes, and types of MS and analyzed using the independent t-test.
