Functional Bracing in a Femur Non-union Following Fracture Related Infection: A Case Report.

Non-union refers to a disruption in the process of fracture repair, which can be identified through sequential clinical and radiographic assessments. The distinction between septic and aseptic non-union is essential because the treatment strategies are fundamentally different. Non-unions are most often treated surgically as it helps to provide both mechanical stability and good biological environment to promote bone healing.

Renal metastasis of osteosarcoma after multiple pulmonary metastases: A case report and review of literature.

Renal metastasis of osteosarcoma is a rare entity, with paucity of reported cases in the literature. We report a case of a 20-year-old gentleman who was diagnosed with right distal femur osteosarcoma, complicated with multiple pulmonary recurrences. At two-year-and-a-half interval post-treatment completion, the patient developed right flank pain and frank haematuria.

However, overlaps in these characteristics may present difficulties in the accurate diagnosis of these subtypes, which have different clinical outcomes. Genomic and molecular studies have revealed unique genetic aberrations in each subtype.
