Purpose: The aim of this study is to report the indications, techniques, and clinical outcomes of corneal transplantation and investigate any changing trends in surgical techniques over a 6 year period.
Materials And Methods: Records of patients who had undergone any kind of corneal transplantation at Labbafinejad Medical Center, Tehran, Iran, from January 2004 to December 2009 were reviewed to determine the indications and types of corneal transplantation. Postoperative best-corrected visual acuity, refractive error, graft clarity, and complications were reported.
Purpose: To evaluate corneal biomechanical properties and intraocular pressure (IOP) after photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) with or without mitomycin-C (MMC) 0.02% in myopic eyes.
Methods: In this prospective, comparative interventional case series, 33 right eyes of 33 patients were included.
Purpose: To compare the efficacy of intravitreal injection of clindamycin and dexamethasone with classic treatment for ocular toxoplasmosis.
Design: Prospective, randomized single-masked clinical trial.
Participants: A total of 68 patients with active ocular toxoplasmosis were assigned randomly to 2 treatment groups: 34 in the intravitreal clindamycin plus dexamethasone (IVCD) group and 34 in the classic treatment (CT) group.
