Objectives: The study was undertaken to determine the prevalence of different high risk HPV (HR-HPV) genotypes amongst women residing in Kuwait with epithelial abnormalities in cervical smears and to detect any difference in the distribution of these genotypes between Kuwaiti and Non-Kuwaiti women or between the cytological diagnosis groups.
