Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the correlation between computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) measurements of femoral anteversion, as well as the relation of anteversion with physical examination and radiographic findings.

Methods: Preoperative CT and MRI measurements of anteversion along with clinical examination were performed on 129 consecutive hips before hip arthroscopy for nonarthritic hip injuries. All anteversion measurements were performed by 2 musculoskeletal radiologists.

Purpose: To evaluate apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values for characterization of a variety of focal liver lesions and specifically for differentiation of solid benign lesions (focal nodular hyperplasia [FNH] and adenomas) from solid malignant neoplasms (metastases and hepatocellular carcinoma [HCC]) in a large case series.

Materials And Methods: A total of 542 lesions in 382 patients were evaluated. ADC values were measured in 166 hemangiomas, 112 hepatomas, 107 metastases, 95 cysts, 10 abscesses, 43 FNH, and nine adenomas.

Adrenal collision tumors are rare clinical entities referring to separate coexisting adjacent tumors involving an adrenal gland with sharp demarcation between the two and without a substantial histologic admixture at the interface. We report a case of a 60-year-old female patient with an exceedingly rare adrenal hemangioma-adenoma collision tumor. To our knowledge, this is the first report of a collision tumor comprising an adrenal hemangioma and an adenoma.

Chronic pancreatitis is a progressive, irreversible inflammatory and fibrosing disease of the pancreas with clinical manifestations of chronic abdominal pain, weight loss, and permanent pancreatic exocrine and endocrine insufficiency. In the United States, a long history of heavy alcohol consumption is the most common cause of chronic pancreatitis. This review discusses the different modalities such as computed tomography, transabdominal and endoscopic ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging/magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography available to image chronic pancreatitis, along with their advantages and limitations.

We describe an extremely rare case of an ileocolic intussusception with an appendiceal mucocele as the lead-point and cause of acute right lower quadrant pain in an adult patient. There are only few reported cases of this entity in the radiologic literature. We describe the multislice (computed tomography) CT features and emphasize the value of multiplanar reformations.

Purpose: To assess the incidence of nonviable leiomyomas in patients referred for uterine artery embolization (UAE) with use of contrast material-enhanced pelvic magnetic resonance (MR) imaging and to determine the effect of this information on interventional radiologists' decision to perform UAE or consider other treatment options.

Materials And Methods: One hundred consecutive women referred for UAE for treatment of symptomatic leiomyomas were studied. Of these, 94 patients underwent MR imaging examinations, which were retrospectively reviewed.
