Students' Perception of Remote Extended Reality Simulation Systems Using Patient-specific Three-Dimensional-printed Models in Endodontic Education: A Pilot Study.

Objective: Extended reality (XR) technology using head-mounted devices enables the operator to visu-alise anatomical structures. We aimed to investigate student perceptions regarding applying XR simu-lation for transferring endodontic educational information between a lecturer in Japan and students in Saudi Arabia.

Methods: In this study, the students engaged with an XR simulation system and viewed teeth in virtual reality (VR).

Compliance with hand hygiene practices among nursing staff in secondary healthcare hospitals in Kuwait.

Background: Hand hygiene (HH) among healthcare workers, especially nurses, is the main preventive measure to control healthcare associated infections but compliance with hand hygiene (CwHH) remains low in various settings including Kuwait. This study aimed to assess the knowledge of, attitudes towards, and CwHH among nursing staff in secondary care hospitals in Kuwait.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on nursing staff in all six secondary care hospitals in Kuwait.
