- Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) is a mental health condition characterized by an intense preoccupation with perceived flaws in appearance, causing significant distress and impairment.
- A Polish version of the Body Dysmorphic Disorder Questionnaire-Dermatology version (BDDQ-DV) was created and validated to help diagnose BDD in Polish-speaking dermatology patients.
- The new Polish version demonstrated high internal consistency (Cronbach's α = 0.92) and excellent reliability (ICC = 0.998), making it a useful tool for identifying BDD.
