Background: Existential anxiety is the anxiety that goes beyond objective threats and is related to a person's existence. Due to the lack of appropriate instrument to measure all five domains of existential anxiety in the Iranian population, this study aimed to examine the psychometric properties of the Existential Concern Questionnaire (ECQ) in the Iranian general population.

Methods: This online cross-sectional survey was conducted from October 9 to December 11, 2023 in Tehran, Iran.

Global environmental risk factors of schizophrenia: a study protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis of cohort studies.

Introduction: Schizophrenia is a chronic, complex and severe psychiatric disorder affecting millions of people every year and inflicting different costs to the individual, family and community. A growing body of evidence has introduced several genetic and environmental factors and their interactions as aetiological factors of schizophrenia. The goal of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to present an updated representation of the global environmental risk factors of schizophrenia.

A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis of Attitudes of Iranian Nurses and Related Factors Towards End-Of-Life Care.

This meta-analysis aimed to summarize the evidence regarding attitudes of Iranian nurses and related factors towards end-of-life (EOL) care. PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, Magiran, Iranmedex, Scientific Information Database, and Google Scholar search engine were searched using Persian and English appropriate keywords from the earliest records up to September 11, 2020. A total of 849 nurses were included in six studies.

The risk of surgery-related pressure ulcer in diabetics: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Background And Objective: Postoperative pressure ulcers are known as the most important quality indicators of intraoperative care that create critical and costly complications during hospital care. Accordingly, this study was performed to determine the risk factor for diabetes in postoperative pressure ulcers.

Materials And Methods: The present study is a systematic review of PubMed, Scopus and the Web of Science databases with using standardized keywords of the performed English language articles between Jan 2010 to Jan 2020.
