[Experience of Health Protection Center on organization of medical care for coal miners in Kuzbass].

The authors present materials on activities of medical and sanitary center on contemporary phase of economic development under reforms of health care and coal industry.

[Pilot experience with skeletal muscles electrostimulation in rehabilitation of patients with complicated myocardial infarction].

Aim: To test electric stimulation of the skeletal muscles in rehabilitation of patients with complicated myocardial infarction.

Materials And Methods: 27 patients with macrofocal myocardial infarction (age 67 +/- 2.4 years) with persisting left ventricular insufficiency in the beginning of the subacute period.

[Treatment results in chronic bacterial prostatitis using radio waves].

We report the results of examination, treatment and follow-up of 30 patients aged 25-40 years with chronic bacterial prostatitis. We used the method of local transurethral hyperthermia of the prostate ("Thermex" unit). This method proved effective as the period of remission in comparison with standard conservative therapy increased 2-3-fold.

[The effect of extracorporeal thermal-modified autologous plasma exchanges on dynamics of hormone-metabolic homeostasis indices in patients with acute myocardial infarction].

Changes of biochemical indexes in the blood of 56 patients with acute myocardial infarction against the background of conventional and complex treatment using plasma exchange of extracorporeal-termally modified autoplasma have been analysed. The findings show that complex treatment of patients with AMI, using plasma exchange of extracorporal-thermally modified autoplasma, leads to much earlier decrease of KPK, LDH, LDH-1 enzyme activity in blood; it indicates the reduction of the period of myocardiocyte function restoration. The usage of plasma exchange of extracorporeal-thermally modified autoplasma in patients with acute myocardial infarction is accompanied by the absence of increase of glucose concentration in blood (owing to the normalization of insulin production), favourable influence on stress-reaction of biological systems of organism decrease of atherogenity index.

[Hemosorption in the complex treatment of patients with suppurative arthritis].

The authors make an analysis of their experiences with the treatment of 47 patients with purulent arthritis. They recommend to include hemosorption for detoxication in the postoperative period.

[Prevention and treatment of pneumonia in infectious complications of trauma].

Based on the examination and treatment of 79 patients with traumas the authors consider ventilation exercises to be necessary for prevention of pneumonia.

[Suppurative complications of fractures of the lower extremities].

On the basis of an experience with the treatment of 605 patients with open fractures of the crus and posttraumatic osteomyelitis the authors propose recommendations for the rational choice of the operation volume, the method of the antibiotic therapy, using hemosorption and lymphosorption. The complex treatment gave satisfactory results in 80,3% of the patients.

[Diagnosis and surgical treatment of injuries of the major vessels of the extremities].

The authors analyze results of the treatment of 126 patients with injured major blood vessels. In diagnosis the main significance is attached to contrast angiography. The method of short-time shunting is recommended for preventing ischemia.
