The Transcriptomic and Gene Fusion Landscape of Pleomorphic Salivary Gland Adenomas.

Pleomorphic adenoma (PA) is the most common salivary gland tumor. PAs are characterized by chromosomal rearrangements of 8q12 and 12q14-15, leading to gene fusions involving the PLAG1 and HMGA2 oncogenes. Here, we performed the first comprehensive study of the transcriptomic and gene fusion landscape of 38 cytogenetically characterized PAs.

Determinants of physical activity among female students based on the transtheoretical model.

This study investigates factors influencing physical activity based on the Transtheoretical model (TTM) among adolescents. This study was conducted on 745 individuals between the ages of 12 and 16 years and was analyzed using a generalized linear model (GLM) approach with appropriate link functions using both classical and Bayesian frameworks. The results show that in model 1, the probit link function is a more appropriate approach to determine the risk factors for physical activity.

The selection process included rigorous criteria, resulting in the inclusion of 24 individual studies from 21 papers. The majority of studies were conducted in high-income countries, with the accuracy/credibility of information as the primary outcome.

Background And Aim: There have been a growing interest in investigating the effect of stewardship on other functions of rehabilitation service delivery. Effective stewardship of rehabilitation services can ensure that these services are of high quality, accessible, affordable, and sustainable, and can help achieve the goals of universal health coverage. Background And Aim: Medication errors (MEs) in hospitals decrease patient satisfaction, increase hospital mortality, lower hospital productivity, and increase in the costs of the health system. This study was conducted to determine the rate of MEs in Iranian hospitals.

Method: In this meta-analysis, all published articles on ME rates in Iranian hospitals were identified from five databases and Google Scholar and assessed for quality.

Incidence of side effects of antituberculosis drugs and their related factors in northern Iran: a retrospective cohort study.

Description of the pattern of ADR and their related factors can help tuberculosis (TB) control program as part of the WHO programs. This study aims to investigate the incidence of ADR and associated factors among TB patients in northern Iran.

Introduction: The current study was conducted to determine the impact of health literacy and factors related to adherence to drug treatment, using the model proposed by the World Health Organization, in older adults with hypertension residing in informal settlements in Hamadan.

Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 405 patients in Hamadan city, located in the western part of Iran. Data were collected using an interviewer-administered questionnaire that included the 5-dimensional model proposed by the World Health Organization, Health Literacy for Iranian Adults, and Morisky Medication Adherence Scale-8.

Evaluation of Liver Enzymes in Normal Pregnancies in a University Hospital of Zabol Iran: A Cross-Sectional Study.
