Method of computer modeling of behavior of cylindrical and lamellar bones under the hypervelocity impact is suggested. This method allows in the frame of mechanics of continuous medium to calculate the stress strain behavior and damage in bone tissues under the shock wave impact. The processes of shock correlation of steel fragments of different shape with diaphysis of cylindrical bones and flat bone of calvaria under the impact 500 m/s are studied.

Apart from lymphadenopathy types observed in well-known diseases (oncology and hematology pathologies, systemic lesions of connective tissues, tuberculosis, brucellosis, infection mononucleosis, toxoplasmosis, AIDS and other specific processes), there is an extensive group of lymphadenopathy (up to 70% of all disease cases), whose cause cannot be diagnosed by using the routine examination schemes. This was reflected in the diagnosis of "lymphadenopathy of unverified etiology" according to the MKB-1 now in force. Investigations of the role (in etiopathogenesis) of unverified lymphadenopathy types as observed in children with the infection component as well as optimization of their diagnosis and treatment schemes are elucidated in the paper.

Investigation of the protective action of the antiischemic drug trimetazidine (60 mg/kg) used during thrombolytic treatment of acute infarction showed that the drug effectively inhibits lipid peroxidation and reduces the degree of the reperfusive damage of myocardium, as determined from ECG (QRS index calculation) or from data on the blood creatinin phosphokinase level.

An animal model for the study of the influence of immunomodulators on the development and preservation of postvaccinal antidiphtheria immunity was experimentally selected and the corresponding study was carried out. In this work the following immunomodulators were used: dibasol, prodigiosan, splenin, thymalin, reaferon, tactivin, methyluracyl. The study revealed that by day 120 of observation all immunomodulators stimulated the production of antibodies in higher titers than adsorbed DPT vaccine, introduced without immunomodulators.

The work was aimed at the comparative study of the intensity of immunity to diphtheria, tetanus and poliomyelitis, depending on the number of injections of adsorbed diphtheria-pertussis-tetanus (DPT) vaccine and poliomyelitis vaccine, for the purpose of finding out the possibility of reducing the antigenic load given to children without diminishing the intensity of immunity. To determine the level of immunity to diphtheria and tetanus, 1900 children under school age were serologically studied by the micromethod in the passive hemagglutination test. The intensity of immunity to poliomyelitis virus was studied in 333 children by means of the neutralization test.

Effect of decaris on dynamics of cellular and humoral immunity was studied in 55 patients with acute and chronic pneumonia and 40 patients with diabetes mellitus. Differences in dynamics of immune parameters in diabetes mellitus and pneumonias in response to decaris treatment were found that could be related to various mechanisms of immune disturbances in these diseases.

The comparative study of more than 300 Proteus, Klebsiella, Enterobacter and Citrobacter strains isolated from patients with urological infections and parenteral infections of other localization, as well as from the feces of healthy persons has been carried out. The strains causing inflammatory processes in the urinary tract have been shown to possess no strict specificity. The ability of opportunistic enterobacteria to cause urinary tract lesions is their polydeterminant property ensured by the combination of different factors.

The analysis of the chromatograms of methyl esters of fatty acids in bacterial strains of the tribe Klebsielleae showed the heterogeneity of the fatty acid composition of bacteria belonging to the genera Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Hafnia and Serratia. The bacteria of this tribe could be subdivided into 5 provisory groups in accordance with the composition and profile of their fatty acids. Group I comprised K.
