- Out of 135 CKD patients analyzed, a significant prevalence of gingivitis (14.8%) and periodontitis (82.2%) was found, with severe cases constituting 45.9%.
- Factors such as being on peritoneal dialysis and having undergone dialysis for over three years heightened the risk of developing CP, indicating a need for improved dental care programs for those on dialysis.
