Background: Primary hyperparathyroidism can impact patient quality of life with psychopathological symptoms like mood and sleep disturbances. In the latest recommendations published according to the primary hyperparathyroidism surgical consensus, these neuropsychological symptoms continue to be excluded. This study aims to assess the negative effects of mood and sleep on patients with primary hyperparathyroidism compared to healthy controls and analyze their improvement after surgery.
