Article Synopsis
  • Decantation is a method used to prepare fat grafts by separating fat from other components, and this study aimed to find the optimal decantation time for best results.
  • Researchers collected fat from 11 healthy adults and tested decantation times of 0, 30, and 60 minutes to assess fat volume and cell viability.
  • The results indicated that decantation at 30 minutes yielded the highest fat volume and cell viability, suggesting this timeframe is most effective for preparing fat grafts.
