A versatile real-time vision-led runway localisation system for enhanced autonomy.

This paper proposes a solution to the challenging task of autonomously landing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). An onboard computer vision module integrates the vision system with the ground control communication and video server connection. The vision platform performs feature extraction using the Speeded Up Robust Features (SURF), followed by fast Structured Forests edge detection and then smoothing with a Kalman filter for accurate runway sidelines prediction.

Peripartum Cardiomyopathy.

Peripartum cardiomyopathy (PPCM) is a rare cause of heart failure (HF) that affects women late in pregnancy or in the early puerperium. There are several definitions for PPCM. While there are numerous potential mechanisms for Peripartum (post-partum) cardiomyopathy, its exact cause remains unknown, but the etiopathogenesis is likely to be multifactorial.

AMH and Its Clinical Implications.

Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) is critical for physiologic involution of the Mullerian ducts during sexual differentiation in the male fetus. In women, AMH is a product of the small antral follicles in the ovaries and serves to function as an autocrine and paracrine regulator of follicular maturation. As the size of the residual follicular pool depends on the quantity of small antral follicles and declines over time, the serum AMH level in women follows a characteristic trajectory: a gradual decline throughout the reproductive years and a precipitous drop at menopause, becoming undetectable soon after.

Role of 24-Hr Blood Pressure Variability as a Target Therapeutic Risk Factor for Poor Functional Outcome of Acute Ischemic Stroke.

Background And Purpose: The present study aims to evaluate the role of blood pressure variability (BPV) as a target therapeutic risk factor for poor outcome of ischemic stroke by finding the association between the two and by finding the population attributable risk (PAR) of BPV compared to other baseline outcome predictors.

Methods: A prospective observational study was carried out at GMCH, Nagpur, India from January to June 2019 in 75 patients diagnosed with acute ischemic stroke. BP was recorded hourly for the first 24 hours of admission and base line factors were collected along with measurement of stroke severity.
