- Out of 312 surgical patients, 2.88% tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, while 6.58% of 167 non-operative patients were positive.
- The overall SARS-CoV-2 prevalence in this pediatric surgical group was 4.17%, with outcomes showing no significant difference between SARS-CoV-2 positive and negative patients, except for one death due to complications unrelated to the virus.
