Galleria mellonella, the greater wax moth has always been an important pest against honeybees and has remained a nightmare for beekeeping farmers. Management of G. mellonella in live honeybee colonies is very difficult because most current management practices can destroy whole honeybee colonies.

Spatial statistical analysis of multivariate volumetric data can be challenging due to scale, complexity, and occlusion. Advances in topological segmentation, feature extraction, and statistical summarization have helped overcome the challenges. This work introduces a new spatial statistical decomposition method based on level sets, connected components, and a novel variation of the restricted centroidal Voronoi tessellation that is better suited for spatial statistical decomposition and parallel efficiency.

So, malware detection plays a vital role on the internet so that the device is secure without any malicious activity affecting or gathering the useful content of the user. Researches indicate that the vulnerability of adversarial attacks is more in deep neural networks.

Internal limiting membrane (ILM) peeling has been an essential step of macular hole surgery since the establishment of the role of ILM in the aetiopathogenesis and progression of macular hole. However, the novel technique was not all virtuous.

However, it is the 2nd most common tarsal bone to get fractured after calcaneum and accounts for approximately 1% of all fractures around foot and ankle. The anastomotic ring around the talar neck is highly likely to get damaged at the time of the fracture, which, in turn, hampers the blood supply to the body of talus.

Educational institutes across the world have closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic jeopardizing the academic calendars. Most educational institutes have shifted to online learning platforms to keep the academic activities going. However, the questions about the preparedness, designing and effectiveness of e-learning is still not clearly understood, particularly for a developing country like India, where the technical constraints like suitability of devices and bandwidth availability poses a serious challenge.

It was initially described in young patients with type1 diabetes mellitus (DM) as a bilateral disease with minimal visual symptoms which resolved spontaneously. Lately, DP has been a focus of controversy because of its wide clinical spectrum.

Some commonly encountered complications with its use include subretinal migration, formation of sticky silicone oil or retained PFCL in vitreous cavity and anterior chamber. Scleral rupture during PFCL injection has a rare occurrence.

The development of usable visualization solutions is essential for ensuring both their adoption and effectiveness. User-centered design principles, which involve users throughout the entire development process, have been shown to be effective in numerous information visualization endeavors. We describe how we applied these principles in scientific visualization over a two year collaboration to develop a hybrid in situ/post hoc solution tailored towards combustion researcher needs.

Information about the incidence of poverty is therefore an important parameter of the population for policy analysis and decision making. In order to provide specific, targeted solutions when addressing poverty disadvantage small area statistics are needed.

The use of standard small area estimation methods based on linear mixed models becomes problematic for such data. An empirical plug-in predictor (EPP) under a unit-level generalized linear mixed model with logit link function is often used for the estimation of a small area proportion.

Methods: We retrospectively collected the data of patients who underwent arthroscopic drainage of psoas abscess concurrent with septic arthritis of the hip. Arthroscopic debridement was performed in both the central and peripheral hip joint compartments.
In the present review, attempts have been made to analyze the metallurgical, mechanical, and corrosion properties of commercial marine alloy duplex stainless steel AISI 2205 with special reference to its weldability, machinability, and surfacing. In the first part, effects of various fusion and solid-state welding processes on joining DSS 2205 with similar and dissimilar metals are addressed. Microstructural changes during the weld cooling cycle such as austenite reformation, partitioning of alloying elements, HAZ transformations, and the intermetallic precipitations are analyzed and compared with the different welding techniques.

Questions/purposes: The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of radiographic findings in the proximal femur that are consistent with FAI in asymptomatic Korean volunteers.
Methods: Two hundred asymptomatic volunteers with no prior hip surgery or childhood hip problems underwent three-view plain radiographs (pelvis AP view, Sugioka view, and 45° Dunn view) of both hips.
Context: Cancer pattern varies in different regions and depends on race, lifestyle and diet. There is a lack of definitive information regarding hospital-based cancer profile in Southern Punjab, which is a cotton growing area. Excess of toxins in the macro-environment is thought to be the reason for the high incidence of cancer in this area.

Two novel optical power limiters, 2-[ethyl-(4-phenylazo-phenyl)-amino]-ethanol (E4PA) and 2-[ethyl-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenylazo-phenyl)-amino]-ethanol (E4TPA) were synthesized using a diazotization reaction. The purified azo material was made into thin films in a poly(methyl methacrylate) matrix using a gravity settling technique. The electronic nonlinearities of these films were investigated using an open aperture Z-scan technique in the fs excitation regime, resulting in nonlinear absorption due to a two-photon absorption (2PA) process.
