Purpose: To comparatively evaluate the biochemical profile in normal human lenses with capsule and in stages of age related opaque lenses without capsule.
Materials And Methods: The study included 3 groups of lenses with transparent structure, mature and incipient cataract.
Results: The results were for 25 biochemical investigations.
Unlabelled: Cataract represents a degenerative process of lens structures with multifactor causes.
Study Objectives: are to present histopathological modificatios at different types of cataract and to demonstrate the USIOL lens effects at rabbit posterior capsule, after extracapsular surgery.

A female woman, 34 years old, having a history of 10 years of conjunctival allergy, came to our Clinic for a pale pink mass lesion, occupying both the upper and the lower fornices. The therapeutical and also investigational approach was to excise all suspected tissue and to biopsy to determine if benign or malignant (clinically indistinguishable). The conjunctival biopsy revealed a non-Hodgkin malignant conjunctival MALT lymphoma.
