One of the primary purposes of this study is to synthesize new aryl sulfonate-naphthalene hybrid structures possessing divergent electron-withdrawing and electron-releasing functional groups. Following the improved reaction conditions, we successfully gathered ten distinct sulfonate derivatives () with good yields. The synthesized naphthalene-based sulfonate derivatives were then characterized using appropriate analytical methods (FT-IR, H-NMR, C-NMR, HRMS, and elemental analysis).

Enzyme activity alterations have been associated with many metabolism disorders and have crucial roles in the pathogenesis of some diseases. Tyrosinase is a key enzyme in melanin biosynthesis, which is responsible for skin pigmentation to protect the skin from solar radiation. Pancreatic lipase has been considered a key enzyme for the treatment of obesity.

Pyrazole-3,4-dicarboxylic acid was synthesized via the hydrolysis of pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid and subsequently heated with thionyl chloride to give the novel pyrazole-3,4-dicarbonyl dichloride , which was easily converted into oligo-pyrazole upon its reaction with -phenylene-diamine. These newly synthesized compounds were characterized by H-NMR, C-NMR, and FT-IR spectroscopy, and gel permission chromatography (GPC). Three novel oligo-pyrazole thin films were prepared using oligo-pyrazole with these respective values of thickness: 20, 21, and 24 μm.
