Dental Students' Didactic and Psychomotor Skills Performance in Dental Anatomy and Preclinical Operative Dentistry Courses in a Saudi Governmental School.

Background: Knowledge and psychomotor skills are essential in dental education. The aims were to (1) investigate the correlation between dental students' didactic and psychomotor skills performance in the dental anatomy and preclinical operative dentistry courses and (2) explore the impact of gender on students' performance in both courses.

Materials And Methods: A retrospective cohort study was performed on dental students' (164 students; 72 males and 92 females) dental anatomy and preclinical operative courses scores of the same class over 2 years (2018-2020).

Efficacy of ImageJ in the assessment of apoptosis.

Objective: To verify the efficacy of ImageJ 1.43 n in determining the extent of apoptosis which is a complex and multistep process.

Study Design: Cisplatin in different concentrations was used to induce apoptosis in cultured Hep2 cells.

CD10 and osteopontin expression in dentigerous cyst and ameloblastoma.

Aims And Objectives: To investigate the expression of CD10 and osteopontin in dentigerous cyst and ameloblastoma and to correlate their expression with neoplastic potentiality of dentigerous cyst and local invasion and risk of local recurrence in ameloblastoma.

Methods: CD10 and osteopontin expression was studied by means of immunohistochemistry in 9 cases of dentigerous cysts (DC) and 17 cases of ameloblastoma. There were 7 unicystic ameloblastoma (UCA) and 10 multicystic ameloblastoma (MCA).
