Background: Vitiligo is an acquired cutaneous depigmenting disease caused by a T helper (Th) 1-cytotoxic T cells driven autoimmune attack against melanocytes, in which Th17 is also involved. Interleukin (IL)-38 belongs to the IL-1 family of cytokines and suppresses Th1 and Th17 activation. IL-38 protein and mRNA levels have been found to be elevated in various autoimmune disorders and correlated with disease severity and activity, including psoriasis, systemic sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and atopic dermatitis.

The nano-engineered sorbent was thoroughly scrutinized by different spectral analyses of; FT-IR, SEM, EDX, BET surface area, TEM, VSM, UV/Vis spectroscopy, and PH measurement. The adsorption of MB was methodically carried out in a batch process to investigate the effects of initial pH (2.

Furthermore, for the safeguard of the human health and the environment, it is also stringent keeping in mind the need to gather good functional performances with the development of ecofriendly materials and processes. In this study, we propose a green fabrication method for the synthesis of silver nanoparticles supported on oxidized nanocellulose (ONCs), acting as both template and reducing agent.

Herein, a density functional theory (DFT) study using the Heyd-Scuseria-Ernzerhof (HSE) hybrid functional was performed to precisely investigate the effect of mono- and co-doping (Ni, Se and B) on the structural, electronic and optical properties of anatase TiO. Notably, the origin of the enhanced photocatalytic activity of the modified systems was determined.

Introduction: Salmonella serovars are one of the primary foodborne pathogens. Poultry consumption is responsible for the majority of disease cases worldwide. The prevalence of virulence determinants among Salmonella serovars appears to be lacking in Egypt.

Newly prepared malonanilides M1-M5 were tested in stabilizing double-base propellants (DBPs). Their stabilization was compared with the effect of classical stabilizer N,N'-diethyldiphenyl urea (C1) using both practical thermal stability tests (qualitative and quantitative tests) and theoretical molecular orbital calculations.

The electronic absorption spectra of benzoyl azide and its derivatives: p-methyl, p-methoxy, p-chloro and p-nitrobenzoyl azide were investigated in different solvents. The observed spectra differ basically from the electronic spectra of aryl azides or alkyl azides. Four intense pi-pi* transitions were observed in the accessible UV region of the spectrum of each of the studied compounds.
