Background: Prostate cancer (Pca) is a deadly disease prevalent among men, and it accounts for about 7-8 % of mortality globally. Synthetic drugs have proved effective but have limitations and severe side effects. There is, therefore, a need to discover a less expensive, natural therapeutic agent with no side effects in treating the ailment.
