Endophytic fungi (EFs) have emerged as promising modulators of plant growth and stress tolerance in agricultural ecosystems. This review synthesizes the current knowledge on the role of EFs in enhancing the adaptation of crops to abiotic stress. Abiotic stresses, such as drought, salinity, and extreme temperatures, pose significant challenges to crop productivity worldwide.

Batch and continuous studies on removal of Cr (VI) achieved 97% and 99% removal from aqueous phase, respectively. The specific uptake values at pH of 2 in batch process were 40.

The aim of the present work was to design low-molecular-weight chitosan from shrimp shells and its physicochemical characterization, to be used for the harvesting of wild microalgae consortia. The chitosan was obtained by chemical deacetylation of shrimp shells, and physicochemical characterization was made using the instrumental methods DSC, TGA, X-ray, FTIR, and SEM.

This characteristic is a complex phenomenon that involves modifications of the molecular machinery in response to different environmental signals. Through the use of microarrays, in this work we identified genes involved in the early stages of the yeast-to-mycelium transition of Yarrowia lipolytica induced by a shift in pH of the medium.
