Objectives: Maximising social workers' contributions to primary care requires clarity about their scope of practice in this context. This scoping review sought to clarify what is known about social work's scope of practice in primary care settings.
Design: A scoping review design guided by the five-stage scoping review framework developed by Arksey and O'Malley and the updated JBI Manual for Evidence Synthesis.
A phenanthroline-type ligand containing an annealed 1,2,4-triazine ring was used to prepare novel Ir(III) complexes 3 and 4. The complexes are non-luminescent but show luminogenic behaviour following the inverse electron demand Diels-Alder (IEDDA) reaction with bicyclononyne (BCN) derivatives. It was observed that the complexes react with BCN-C10 faster than the corresponding free ligands.

We provide a case example of the collaborative process required to plan and implement initiatives to enhance team-based primary care, drawing on experiences of six disciplines working together to create new curricula as part of Team Primary Care. Recommendations to strengthen collaboration from our team include building capacity requires an understanding of unique disciplinary roles and understanding of unique elements of primary care; competencies have to be specifically articulated and demonstrated within a primary care context; interprofessional education within and across disciplines is needed; establishing primary care competencies would provide a common set of skills, knowledge, values, and attitudes to form a foundation in which to build the capacity of the interprofessional primary care workforce; and interprofessional collaboration is needed in implementing team-based primary care in practice and in preparing an interprofessional workforce prepared to leverage the expertise of the entire team.

This real-world study aimed to evaluate the effect of initiating flash glucose monitoring on change in HbA1c after 3-6 months in adults living with T2DM treated with multiple daily injections of insulin.
Methods: A retrospective observational study using data from ten clinical centres in the UK for adults with T2DM treated with multiple daily injections of insulin for at least 1 year was conducted.
Background: Primary health care (PHC) teams contributed to all phases of the COVID-19 vaccination distribution. However, there has been criticism for not fully utilizing the expertise and infrastructure of PHC teams for vaccination distribution. Our study sought to understand the role PHC teams had in the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine in Ontario, Canada.

However, post-operative skin flap and nipple-areolar complex (NAC) necrosis remain common complications. This study aimed to identify factors associated with necrosis in patients undergoing NSM with DIEP reconstruction.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Canada began its vaccination strategy with mass immunizations that later included local efforts with PHC providers. This study seeks to understand how PHC contributed to the different phases of the COVID-19 vaccination rollouts in Ontario, Canada's most populous province.

Since free flaps offer numerous advantages in breast reconstruction, there is an effort to expand the population to whom these operations can be safely offered. The purpose of this study is to describe our chemoprophylaxis regimen in cases of primary hypercoagulability, as well as to compare flap outcomes and complications between women with and without hypercoagulability.

The studies that do exist suggest that perceived partner satisfaction is an important predictor of patient satisfaction in postmastectomy breast reconstruction.
Methods: We created a novel survey designed to look at reconstruction outcomes from a partner's perspective.
Objectives: Pharmacists have been increasingly integrated into primary care teams, leading to improved health outcomes for patients. The two objectives of this study were (i) to describe how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted pharmacists' role in mental health care within Canadian primary care teams and (ii) to describe Canadian pharmacists' experiences collaborating with other healthcare providers in the delivery of mental health services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Methods: Cross-sectional observational study utilizing an online survey consisting of closed-ended and open-ended questions.
This study aimed to determine the differences and drivers of oomycete diversity and community composition in alder- and birch-dominated park and natural forest soils of the Fennoscandian and Baltic countries of Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden. For this, we sequenced libraries of PCR products generated from the DNA of 111 soil samples collected across a climate gradient using oomycete-specific primers on a PacBio high-throughput sequencing platform. We found that oomycete communities are most affected by temperature seasonality, annual mean temperature, and mean temperature of the warmest quarter.

Little is known regarding outcomes based on the degree of obesity. This study compares breast reconstruction outcomes and complication rates for the three classes defined by the body mass index (BMI)-based WHO classification.

To understand and predict such changes, factors structuring tree-associated communities need to be determined. Here, we analysed the data consisting of records of insects and fungi collected from dormant twigs from 155 tree species at 51 botanical gardens or arboreta in 32 countries.

This study seeks to describe how social workers engaged in leadership roles in primary care during the COVID-19 pandemic. A cross-sectional on-line survey was disseminated to primary care social workers across Ontario, Canada, with a total of 159 respondents.

Methods: A cross-sectional online survey was disseminated through Qualtrics software from July 5, 2021, to October 13, 2021. We used a convenience sampling technique to recruit a sample of pharmacists working in primary care teams across Ontario, Canada, who were able to complete a web-based survey in English.
Background: Heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) an immunologically mediated reaction to heparin products, can lead to severe thrombocytopenia and potentially life-threatening thrombotic events. In microsurgery, a missed or delayed diagnosis of HIT can cause complications requiring revision operations, flap loss, or limb loss. Surgeons must remain vigilant for this uncommon yet potentially devastating condition and keep abreast of management strategies.

PD-L1 is a validated prognostic and predictive immunohistochemical biomarker of anti-PD-1/PD-L1 therapy but displays temporospatial heterogeneity of expression. Non-invasive radiopharmaceutical techniques, including technetium-99m [Tc]-labelled anti-PD-L1 single-domain antibody (NM-01) SPECT/CT, have the potential to improve the predictive value of PD-L1 assessment.

Measurement of myocardial PD-L1 expression may have potential use as a mechanistic and predictive biomarker. The aim of this study was to determine non-invasive assessment of myocardial PD-L1 expression using [Tc]-labelled anti-PD-L1 single-domain antibody (NM-01) SPECT/CT.

Methods: The training/testing (n = 3020,748) and validation (n = 2237,701) cohorts included Pennsylvania residents with a prescription dispensing from February 2018-September 2021. Potential predictors (n = 222) were measured in the 6 months prior to a random index date.
Introduction: Class 3 (severe) obesity is defined as a body mass index (BMI) greater than 40 kg/m . Obesity is common and an independent risk factor for breast cancer. The plastic surgeon will be tasked with providing reconstruction for obese patients after mastectomy.
