The studies were conducted in order to determine magnesium concentration in the tissues and serum of dogs with malignant and non-malignant mammary tumours in comparison to its concentration in the tissue and serum of healthy dogs. From the studies presented in the paper it turns out that magnesium concentration in the mammary neoplasmic tissue increases with the increase of tumour malignancy and in comparison to its concentration in the control tissue.
