The peritoneal metastasized colorectal cancer (pmCRC) represents a serious health problem worldwide with a special emphasis in the developed countries. Several guidelines recognize the role of multimodal therapy consisting of cytoreductive surgery (CRS) and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) in the treatment of pmCRC.
