Introduction Fetal extrahepatic portosystemic Venous Shunt (FEPSVS) are vascular malformations that divert placental and bowel blood from the liver into the systemic circulation. When uncorrected, it can lead to severe pathologic consequences after birth. Objective To report our method of prenatal diagnosis, the developing insight regarding prenatal counseling, and postnatal treatment.

Objectives: To introduce a two-dimensional sonographic method to assess the fetal anus, and to evaluate the feasibility of this method to diagnose anal atresia prenatally and identify the presence or absence of anoperineal fistula (in males) and anovestibular fistula (in females).
Methods: This was an observational study of suspected cases of anal atresia referred to a single center in Israel between August 2018 and October 2023. In addition to conventional evaluation of the perineum in the axial plane, fetuses referred to our center for suspected malformation were scanned with a new method termed the 'infracoccygeal/transperineal window'.
Asynclitism, a misalignment of the fetal head with respect to the plane of passage through the birth canal, represents a significant obstetric challenge. High degrees of asynclitism are associated with labor dystocia, difficult operative delivery, and cesarean delivery. Despite its clinical relevance, the diagnosis of asynclitism and its influence on the outcome of labor remain matters of debate.

Methods: This was a retrospective cohort study of low-risk pregnant women recruited during routine second-trimester fetal anatomical screening at 20-25 weeks' gestation at two ultrasound units in Israel between 2017 and 2020. The predictive performance of fetal pancreatic circumference ≥ 80 and ≥ 90 centiles and glucose challenge test (GCT) was examined for the outcome of GDM.
Background: The investigation of the fetal umbilical-portal venous system is based on the premise that congenital anomalies of this system may be related to adverse perinatal outcomes. Several small retrospective studies have reported an association between umbilical-portal-systemic venous shunts and intrauterine growth restriction. However, the prevalence of portosystemic shunts in the fetal growth restricted population is yet to be determined.

Methods: Prospective observational study of fetuses diagnosed with PRUV. All patients underwent a comprehensive portal system anatomy scan supplemented by two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) color doppler modalities.
Congenital lung malformations (CLMs) are rare developmental anomalies of the lung, including congenital pulmonary airway malformations (CPAM), bronchopulmonary sequestration, congenital lobar overinflation, bronchogenic cyst and isolated congenital bronchial atresia. CLMs occur in 4 out of 10,000 live births. Postnatal presentation ranges from an asymptomatic infant to respiratory failure.

Introduction: Intrapartum ultrasound (IU) is used in the delivery ward; even if IU monitors the labouring women, it could be perceived as a discomfort and even as an" obstetric violence", because it is a young technique, not often well "accepted". A group of clinicians aimed at obtain an informed consent from patients, prior to perform a translabial ultrasound (TU). The aim of this study was to evaluate the acceptance of both translabial and transabdominal IU.

Previous studies included symptomatic patients diagnosed postnatally, but the outcome of IHPSS diagnosed prenatally is rarely reported. We present a cohort of children prenatally diagnosed with IHPSS and report their natural course and outcome.

Methods: A cross-sectional, prospective study of singleton low obstetric risk pregnancies.

Objective: To quantify the dynamic changes in the afferent venous flow volume of the liver in low-risk pregnancies with fetuses born small-for-gestational age.
Methods: This was a prospective study of low-risk singleton pregnancies with estimated fetal weight (EFW) and birth weight ≤ 10 centile attending for a routine second- or third-trimester ultrasound examination. Their umbilical and portal blood-flow volumes were compared with those of a control group of fetuses born appropriate-for-gestational age from which normal reference ranges were constructed.

Objectives: Congenital hypotonic conditions are rare and heterogeneous, and some are severely debilitating or lethal. Contrary to its prominent postnatal manifestation, the prenatal presentation of hypotonia is frequently subtle, inhibiting prenatal detection. We aimed to characterize the prenatal sonographic manifestation of congenital hypotonia throughout pregnancy, evaluate the yield of diagnostic tests and propose diagnostic models to increase its prenatal detection.

Background And Purpose: A malformed corpus callosum carries a risk for abnormal neurodevelopment. The advent of high-frequency transducers offers the opportunity to assess corpus callosum development in early pregnancy. The aim of the study was to construct a reference chart of the fetal corpus callosum length on ultrasound between 13 and 19 weeks of gestation and to prospectively examine growth patterns in pathologic cases.

Objective: This study aimed to determine the feasibility and accuracy of prenatal ultrasound detection of the distal fistula in fetuses diagnosed with esophageal atresia.

Objective: Congenital intrahepatic shunts divert highly oxygen and nutrients rich placental blood flow from the liver into the systemic flow having a negative influence on normal fetal growth and postnatal development. The ability to recognize this anomaly helps assess the possible clinical impact, counseling, and management of pregnancy. The present study aimed to propose in utero classification for the Intrahepatic Umbilical-Porto-Systemic Venous Shunt (IHUPSVS) based on our experience.

We aim to bring together groups and individuals throughout the world for standardization to implement the ultrasound evaluation in labor ward and improve the clinical management of labor. Ultrasound in labor can be performed using a transabdominal or a transperineal approach depending upon which parameters are being assessed.

Hence, micro/macroglossia are subjectively determined.

Randomized control studies have shown that treatment during pregnancy inhibits to some degree this glycemic effect. Our study aimed to assess fetal pancreas size in a population of treated mothers with gestational diabetes.

Objective: Our study aimed to report our experience with in-utero WES abnormal results, found in fetuses with minor anomalies after a normal CMA result.
Methods: A retrospective study conducted in a single tertiary center, during four years, included collating data regarding fetuses with minor structural abnormalities, normal CMA results, and abnormal triple WES test results.

Purpose: To assess the value of pre-labor maternal and fetal sonographic variables to predict an unplanned operative delivery.
Methods: In this prospective study, nulliparous women were recruited at 37.0-42.
Background: Prevention of cognitive decline in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is of major importance. We explored the effect of a 6 months computerized game training program on cognitive performance in MS patients with mild cognitive impairment.
Methods: This was a single-center, randomized prospective study.
Objective: Data on the value of exome sequencing in fetuses with no structural anomalies are limited, especially in the early stages of pregnancy and in low risk pregnancies. We investigated the yield of targeted clinical prenatal trio exome sequencing (pES) in pregnancies with and without fetal structural anomalies.
Methods: We performed pES in 353 pregnancies: Group 1 included 143 pregnancies with high clinical suspicion for a genetic disease: pregnancies with increased nuchal translucency, ultrasound structural defects, intrauterine growth restriction, polyhydramnios, or effusion/nuchal edema.

Objective: Oesophageal atresia (OA) is a major anomaly of varying severity. The complexity of surgical correction highly depends on the gap length of missing oesophagus and the presence of a distal fistula. The aim of this study was to identify antenatal sonographic findings associated with presence of a distal fistula and type of surgical repair METHODS: Prenatal medical records of neonates postnatally diagnosed with OA were reviewed.
